This is a significant improvement compared to the Surface Pro 4. The new pen is very sensitive, which is great for taking notes.

Should have traded in my laptop sooner. Easier to use, convenient, travelers best friend.

While I love my surface pro m3 2017 it is unfortunate that there are currently light bleed issues plaguing the device. Picked mine up last week and the entire bottom of the screen from left to right has a very noticeable backlight bleed. Debating to exchange as I've already set the entire thing up and it's not available in stores yet - .com order only. Other than that - great battery life (they state 13.5 hours and I'm consistently getting around 11-12 at 50% brightness (which is more than fine). Very snappy for an M3 processor - just know what you're getting in to with this model - you won't be gaming on it or doing 4k video editing quickly.

I bought this computer for school and one month into classes the computer wouldn’t turn on and I took it back to bestbuy and they replaced with a MacBook since there both the same price I wouldn’t suggest this laptop even for my worst enemies

The Surface Pro is much more powerful than the iPad Pro and actually has a comfortable and convenient keyboard. It is also specced in a perfect place where you can run all but the most intensive programs which shouldn't be run on a laptop anyway. The build quality is also incredibly nice which makes the price justified.

I bought this computer for note taking in class. the ease of use and the way it folds into a tablet made it fit perfectly in my backpack with my books. With that being said you need to purchase the key board cover at least. the on-screen keyboard is not very easy to use and will drive you crazy. this model is perfect for light use (media consumption, web browsing and note taking). any editing and you will need to jump up to the i5 or better the i7 model.

It's a good laptop but it's not great. The screen is great, and even the barebones processor is good for email and web. The fact that a Surface Cover/keyboard needs to be purchased separately is disappointing. The biggest disappointment to me is the battery life. Without the power-saving features turned on, battery is good for fewer hours than I'd like. Battery saver is helpful, but I doubt I could go a whole work-day without charging and that's unacceptable in my opinion.

This was a perfect device. Microsoft surface products are only getting better, with the latest model which was just announced getting 8th gen processors. The combination of tablet and laptop makes it so that you don't have to go out and buy a tablet. For anyone who prefers a Windows 10 tablet, the surface is the answer!
