I was looking for an upgrade for my mom, and ended up kind of falling in love with this. The screen is great, it's snappy, it's versatile, the keyboard is fantastic - I can type wicked fast on it - and the trackpad is good too. I've since recommended this to others, and kinda want one for myself!

Love my Surface!

So far I like it a lot--it's fast, has a crisp, bright 120 MHz screen, 1080P web cam, and Windows 11. Nits are few: the battery life isn't great and the keyboard is a tad wobbly. I don't use it much on my lap, though, so it's fine for me. And no manufacturer's bloatware! Surfaces can be pricey, so if you can get it at this price, go for it.

It does have 4Gb more memory which I am sure helps. Windows 11 is surprisingly reefreashing. I've even watched a few videos with no stuttering. Sound is very good for something that has no visable speakers!

Cruise Ship Issue

It appears that, without a driver modification, you cannot access the cruise ship wi-fi. You can see it but cannot connect to it. Currently working to find way to fix this. Have not had a problem with any other device.
