Love this product - light when I travel which is important - still getting it all set up so can use touch screen/pen to their advantages. Based upon initial impression would definitely buy again.

In less than 3 months of use, Ive experienced blue screening and screen tears at random. At a premium price point, you would expect a surface pro to rarely have these issues but this is unfortunately too common of an occurrence to be worth the money at full price .

Easy to use and love that it easily can go from keyboard to touch screen. Hate that all the accessories are separate but still enjoy it.

Nice tablet that converts to a laptop very easily with the attachable key. i7 peocessor makes this one super fast and I highly recommend!

I have had a Surface as my main device since the first one. This is very fast and the battery is good. I like the extra screen size. It's only a little bigger but makes a big difference. I have a few Windows 11 complaints. The biggest complaint is the changes Microsoft made to the taskbar. It is significantly less configurable and is slowing me down. I hope MS listens to the many user complaints about this and fixes it in the next update. I was disappointed that i needed to buy a new keyboard.

After a month of use, I only have possitive thoughs and experiences. A perfect balanced device with a better Windows, improved for this device. It's important to update it, because every patch improves the software-hardware relationship. Important to put in mind the use vs the battery span. The pen it's a must, the keyboard it's relevant but not a must.

The best laptop I’ve had yet. Works great, holds charge well

I like to travel and I've badly needed a laptop that it's light and versatile. This latest device from Microsoft is a keeper. This helps me travel without the excess baggage that I had to deal with from my older gaming computers. Highly recommended especially if you're like me who wants to stay within the Windows ecosystem.

I was so excited when the Surface pro 8 came out, I ordered it within a couple of weeks of it's release. My God was that a dumb idea. TLDR, great produce but, occasional audio cracking and rare screen blacking out for a few seconds but audio still plays. First I want to say I absolutely love the device, I love the surface pen and the type cover. I am one where most of my issues with past computers have been keyboards, so I am in love with the whole idea of instead of sending it off to God knows where I can just run and get a new type cover. The pen really makes not taking and writing a breeze. I'm in education so it really helps demonstrate problems to students. The screen is bright, battery lasts, it doesn't get too hot, you really have to intentionally try to overwork the processor. The surface pro 8 itself is a fantastic machine. Let's address the issues that my guess is because I bought this too early. Granted these issues are rare, not overly detremental to using said device, but are not something you'd expect from a 2k device. There's a rare and occasional audio crackle or pop, use to be a lot more but I've switched browers for videos and it seemed to cut it down, but it still happens. Occasionally now too the screen will go black for like 10 seconds, but audio will still play. Bottom line I love my surface pro 8. I just think that there are two problems that shouldn't be happening on a $2,000 device. I regret not returing for a new model, but frankly at the time it seemed like too much effort when the problems weren't continious. Plus didn't know if the new one would have the same issue. Still annoying though.

LOVE it! Replaced a lovely but heavy Dell Latitude that I've had for many years. Took a bit to learn to use the tough interface but, this old dog learned some new tricks and is enjoying it. Great for reading, bright and very sharp screen.

This is the third Surface upgrade I've gotten and it's by far the best. Along with the keyboard and pen, no mouse or even the track pad is needed. Fabulous as a laptop or tablet. Battery isn't stellar and it's a pain that you need to get peripherals for the full experience, but together an excellent machine.

love the new design which pretty much looks like surface pro x; been eyeing for a 2-in-1 for a while as my work needs it. Unfortunately battery on this really sucks - i was able to get approx. 7 hr of battery life with light browsing and battery saver on, nowhere near proclaimed 16 hrs of battery life. for a device with this form factor i'd expect 10 hr under light weight office work :( guess ill wait for sp9 and see if they will improve at all

Finally a perfect tablet replacement for a computer. I just wish my company would start using these instead of making us choose between an iPad and a laptop. The iPad still beats this out for things like streaming video (i.e., netflix, disney+) because the apps are easier to use in my opinion, but the Surface is close to beating it out with regard to photo editing despite the screen being a little less bright. That said, for literally everything else, the tablet is perfect, including very large Excel models which has always been the biggest drawback of both the iPad and the previous Surface tablets. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Updated from my surface pro 3 which i never had a problem with. Unfortunately, i cracked the screen so it made more sense to buy another since i also use it for work. Surface pro is easy to set and easy to use.

The Surface Pro 8 works pretty well. It runs smoothly and works well for school and personal use. There’s plenty of storage space and the display is pretty nice. The only issue would be the battery life isn’t quite as long as I would prefer, but it still lasts two days with fair use.
