I was skeptical about how the whole Oura ring sizing kit then ordering process would work, but I am glad I gave it a chance. The sizing kit is shipped before the Oura ring to give you a chance to try the ring on your different fingers, find the right size and comfort for yourself then order the ring with the appropriate sizing. I will say it is *VERY* important to use the sizing kit as the Oura ring sizes DO NOT match jewelry ring sizing. I do not know why this is the case but what would usually be a 5.75 ring size in jewelry turned out to be a 7 for Oura, so do not skip this step when you are in the market. This also gives you the opportunity to wear it around a bit, make sure it's entirely comfortable, especially if you intend to wear it on the same finger as other rings, then truly settle on what you are purchasing. I wasn't sure if I wanted to wear it on my ring finger or another finger. The Oura site does say that index, middle and ring are the best, but if you are wearing other rings you may need to choose a nonstandard finger for your ring. That said I just went with my ring finger and wear it with my other rings. To each their own.

Ordered the Oura 5 ring. As part of that I recevied this sizing kit. Shipping was direct to home. Pretty simple layout. Just try on till you find your proper sizing. The test rings are made of plastic. I tried several different sizes and on different fingers. I finally selected my right hand ring finger as my selection in a size 11. There are many sizes, i can only say there is alimit to the sizes - ranging from 6 to only 13. I was a bit surprised. I don't think i have large hands but this might be the only limiting factor for this ring. I think the previous generation has a larger sizing. This kit is a bit beyond just circular rings. The sizing kit utilizes the exact shape of the actualy ring. Which has the 2 small indents for the sensors. I would also say that the weight is about the same as is the width and thickness of the sizer to the actual ring. Once I selected the size I wanted. I just simply logged into the website and responded with my selection. The ring was then sent out.
