These things live up to the hype. The ambience in my entertainment area is unmatched. I have three of these surrounding my tv and it creates a watching atmosphere that’s enjoyable and not a strain on the eyes. Highly recommend.

ok! let me first start with these play bars are expensive for what u get, I ordered the dual pack and the single pack, the single pack that I'm reviewing which there are 2 versions, one comes with the power adapter and one without, paying 69.99 for the single pack with the plug, that's a lot of money.
The single pack without the plug is 59.99 still a lot of money, but I have been using 3 light bars for a while now and I have to say I like them. The build quality for pricy lights are plastic but durable, the mounting hardware is plastic, and the double-sided tape that comes with it sticks on well.
As I was screwing in the mount to the bar I dropped the screw and I was looking for it on a carpet took me about 30 mins till I found the screw and they don't give you and extra screw in the box so be careful!! overall the screw is small, I am very happy with them but my wallet isn't, lol.

I initially purchased the strips but was not happy with the length limitation and the cheap feeling for something that cost $89.00. I’m happy I waited for these b/c they’re perfect for placing behind mounted TVs. Reduces eye strain but most importantly looks amazing.

Bought to use as back-lighting for a PC monitor. Works well for the purpose, only wish it could be a little brighter in daytime use. Dazzling array of colors and integrate well into the hue app.
Comes with two different brackets to enable a variety of install placements, a nice touch.
Good product, if a little pricey for what it is.

This light is a great addition to my Philips lighting system at my house. I also love the ability to connect this light with my Xbox or movies to really set the mood through the Hue Sync app. Adds a great ambiance to any situation.

I wish I could give it 4-1/2 Stars
Though the description of the light bar clearly states that the light bar is 10" long, for some reason I thought it was longer. So I was a little disappointed when the package arrived. That's my problem, not Hue's, I know.
Secondly, I'm using the light as a mood light, not connected to a television. I presumed I would be able to choose multiple colors for it at one time, or maybe even be able to rotate between scenes, as is pictured in the description. In actuality, when used in this way, you may command it to be any rainbow color of your choice, but the whole light is that one color. That's when used in this manner, it has the same functionality has any hue light.
Note that the power supply appears to be able to connect to 3 light bars, not 2 as is detailed in the description.
That said, I'm delighted with the light bar doing what it does. It is very bright, when fully on, and dims smoothly to 1%.
I know it could have returned the unit, but actually I'm very happy with it.

I purchased this to put on the back of my monitor on my gaming pc. I've got it stuck to the center using the enclosed 3m double sided tape.
The windows software is reasonably easy to use. It syncs pretty well with the game or videos I'm playing. It's absolutely awesome for Overwatch. The bright pulses of light used in the game come alive with this. Very neat.
The only issue I have with it is that when you've got the sync feature turned on, it kind of locks the lights on. You have to click several things to turn them off and voice control with google home or alexa can't do it on their own.

Much brighter than the standard Hue lightbulbs. Design is sleek, so you don't really have to hide it behind anything. Really adds a lot of color to the room.

These are very nicely designed hue lights. They add an extra dimension of light to your workspace, entertainment setup or just general room ambiance.
I have these positioned underneath shelves near my desk for a cool downlight effect.

Make sure you have a starter kit before purchasing. The light can turn on/off without it but it will need to be manually plugged in and out in order to do so.
The light itself is pretty bright and is easy to connect with additional light if needed.

Great light, easy set up and when paired with hue light sync behind a monitor it creates a great atmosphere to match what's on your screen. Only downside is the price but being able to get a second and third light cheaper and use only 1 power plug makes it a bit better.

I use this as a TV backlight and it works freakin sweet. HUE in general is top shelf when it comes to multi-color smart lights. And this piece is no different. Makes for a fantastic wall wash light too.

The Philip’s hue ecosystem works well behind my monitors and is also compatible with home kit. The extension cord is a little short, but other than that, ticks all the boxes. It is a bit pricey, but works with no issues.

I'm using this incredible light for a slightly different purpose. It illuminates my turntable. I installed in on the wall, just above where the turntable's dust cover extends when raised. It's perfect. I can dim it or brighten it by voice, of course, using Google Home. I usually keep it on very softy, kind of like a 25W bulb., But if I want full brightness, it's available. It looks phenomenal, and works absolutely perfectly. It's made my return to vinyl even more enjoyable.
