This camera works good and does the job, but it would be nice if it was motion sensored.

Great Quality, it can be mounted anywhere do to its weight and size. Only flaw for me is the audio output.

This is my honest review for the 2 Ring Indoor Plug-In 1080p Security Camera (2nd - Generation), which I purchased at Best Buy on Oct. 5, 2023 at the then Sale price of $29.99 (regularly $59.99). Not even 30 days yet, and one of the Ring totally stopped working on October 23. I was unable to return it, I was told that the return period ended on Oct 20, 2023 (not even 30 days yet). There's not too many things you can possibly do to troubleshoot why the Ring Indoor Plug-in cam just suddenly died. The only thing you can do is to press the button on the top center, and that was not responding at all. So I did the process of elimination on the power cable -- I replaced the cable from the good camera, still not working; I then replace the usb adapter from working camera, still not working. I tried holding the center button several times at varied intervals and many countless attempts but nothing happened. It's totally unresponsive. I bought this Ring indoor camera after I read the Forbes review on this product but later found out there are so many important things the writer didn't mention or more likely intentionally omitted on that biased review. One of them notably is that Ring Indoor Plug-in camera does not have the capability to store recordings locally on a memory card, it does not have a memory card slot. And the other specially important thing -- you are totally dependent on the cloud subscription of $3.99/month/device for Basic (so for 2 cameras it costs 7.98/month) or you can opt for Plus Subscription which is $10/month for all your Ring devices at one location, or Pro Home Security subscription at $20/month for all your devices. Even for the sale price of $29.99 it's way too expensive for that price and totally not worth that price. There are so many other better products. I thought I did my due diligence before purchasing Ring Indoor camera but I relied on a biased review instead of comparing the features with other possible camera alternatives. I didn't want to buy another Ring Indoor camera to replace the dead one. So I opted for a competitor camera which costs only $16 at the time (even at it's current price of $19 is a much better if not best buy than Ring) and have way more better features than this Ring indoor camera. Competing product has a microSD slot which allows you to record locally and provides a Free Basic plan subscription, or you can subscribed to their Cam Plus, Cam Protect, and Home Monitoring. The other competing cam obviously is a better choice than Ring Indoor camera. I just trashed away the 2 Ring Indoor cameras. Ring cameras are the best on the market to me. I have 5 indoor cameras and a front doorbell camera. I have had them for over 7 years now and they have never failed me yet. They have a wide range and can pick up and record everything.. the ring company has been sending out a lot of updates which brings new features. I will be purchasing a outdoor camera for my front porch to go along with my doorbell camera to point in a completely different direction. I would recommend ring products to everyone, they are very good .

Love this camera! The video quality is clear, setup was quick and easy, and the privacy cover is a great feature for added peace of mind. It works perfectly with the Ring app and helps me keep an eye on my home anytime. Highly recommend!

Used for a week now it won’t turn on what a waste of $30

I purchased the Ring Indoor Plug-In 1080p Security Camera (2nd Generation) with Privacy Cover in white and have mixed feelings about it. The camera was easy to set up, connects quickly to the Ring app, and provides clear video quality during the day. I also like the privacy cover feature, which offers added peace of mind when the camera is not in use. The compact design blends well into most rooms, and the two-way audio works as expected. However, the night vision performance is only mediocre. In low-light conditions, the image quality is adequate but lacks the sharpness and detail I expected. While it can capture general activity, identifying finer details or recognizing faces can be challenging. For a security camera, stronger night vision capability would significantly improve its overall effectiveness. Overall, this camera is suitable for basic indoor monitoring and offers several useful features, but the mediocre night vision prevents it from earning a higher rating.

I have had this now for about a month and i love it. It has a good camera and tells me anytime something is in range. I have it indoors but use it to watch out front. It gives me the piece of mind to feel safer than i ever have.

I bought this to monitor the inside of my cabin and it works great. Simply plug it in and it was simple to set up. Motion detection lets me know if anyone is there.

I got this for my living room to watch my dog and so far it has worked out great! It lets me know when there is movement or my dog is moving to another area and keeps me notified of any loud noises!

Plug in and for a low cost one connected to ring subscription is a win win situation. I am satisfied with the clear video quality. I am not using the privacy cover except for the first time. So cannot comment about that feature. Has night vision in infrared and motion detection for arming the ring devices. Lot of features packed in a small device. Would be 100% if a tilting/panning feature is also provided
