I got this 1TB Samsung 870 Evo SSD to replace my failed PS4 HDD. I wish I would have done this upgrade sooner. It made console operation quieter, games loaded noticeably faster and even played a little smoother. If you’re on the fence about upgrading your PS4 HDD to an internal (or even external) SSD, do it! It’s worth it!

It is really smootb and fast. It has minimal lags.

The TV is still working and has a great picture I have recommended this TV to my friends and family

Fast and reliable, best sata ssd you can buy to upgrade any old pc or laptop.

I originally purchased this to upgrade my PlayStation 4's storage and loading performance, which it managed to do as expected and above, the load times are incredibly fast and the menus work better than intended. Product went above and beyond expectations while also being at a reasonable price.

I modify GTA V. a lot and I have a stack of 7 Samsung - 860 EVO 1TB Internal SATA. That I use externally as backup storage of my mods and full game backups. I figured I'd try the Samsung - 870 EVO 1TB Internal SATA and bought 2 of them. I find myself using these more often than the 860's. They just seem faster. I'll definitely be purchasing more Samsung - 870 EVO's in the future.

Added a nice little 1tb of storage, Geek Squad installed it with zero issue. 10/10

Sleek and simple design. Did exactly how I expected and as it should. Would definitely buy again.

This SSD replaced the original rotary drive on my HP laptop, which was ailing and about to fail. The computer is now much faster than it ever was. I would recommend this reasonably priced SSD.

Best ssd easy, reliable, easy to hook up, i wouldnt pick any other

This replaced a SATA drive in an older laptop of mine. It's like I have a new computer now. I should have made this upgrade a while ago.

Quite powerful and very fast data transferring!! It’s a good choice for gamers!

Wanted to get storage for my modded PS2. Yep still rocking the best retro console ever and figured out that there’s a big modding community still alive for it. Wanted to future proof it for years to come. Needed it to be quiet, cool, and a large amount of storage for it. This 1TB Samsung SSD does all those things.

Pretty fast SSD, super quick write time, definitely recommend.

This SSD replaced a failed HHD on an older i7 computer. The improvement I got in speed was far greater than I expected. Everything improved from boot time to programs loading and running smoother. This relatively small priced purchase gives this computer many more years of very productive use.

So far so good, I personally use this unit just for storage and I have installed some games in it, the speed is expected below some captures. my laptop only has 1 M.2 port and 1 Sata. so I use SATA for this unit. but I will recommend using a Nvme M.2 PCIe 4.0 which has more speed.

You can't go wrong with a Samsung SSD. I upgraded a 5 year old HDD laptop with this Samsung SSD. the difference is night and day. Computer boots and runs very fast - like new. I watch Carey Holzman on YouTube and he urged all laptop users with HDD drives to upgrade to SSD. I took his advice and it's a world of difference.

I bought the Samsung 870 EVO SATA 2.5" SSD 1TB on July 17, 2023 for the sole purpose of exporting pictures from Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic to it in a fairly quick and efficient manner without adding too many read/write cycles to my Samsung SSD 970 EVO NVMe M.2 1TB. After a little over a month into ownership, it has been working out pretty well. Files are written to the Samsung 870 EVO SATA 2.5" SSD 1TB very quickly when Lightroom is utilized, so it serves its purpose quite nicely. I'm hoping that the Samsung 870 EVO SATA 2.5" SSD 1TB will be in service inside my computer for many years ahead.

What more can I say? It works as expected. I already had an external Insignia sata drive encloser (to USB-C), so using it as a system external backup drive is easy.

Picked up this Samsung SSD on sale during Black Friday. Great price and a nice addition to my gaming rig. I wish I would have bought another one but I guess I will be waiting for the next sale.
