I’ve been playing Splatoon as a series since the first game. This game brings some newness to the franchise but as it is still early in the game’s life cycle there are still bugs, and balance patches being worked out. Splatoon 3 is a very fun addictive games especially if you have friends who also wanna battle it out in the Splatlands. There is a pretty awesome single player mode too if you enjoy lore. Currently we are getting updates pretty regularly so it’s up to you if you wanna give this game series a try. Maybe look up videos on YouTube to see if you will be interested? Multiple player modes include: -Casual: Turf War -Ranked: Tower Control, Rainmaker, Splat Zones, & Clam Blitz. -Salmon Run: 4 player team faces off against a bunch of salmon AI to beat 3 waves (and sometimes a special 4th wave with a HUGE CHUNKY boss) We also get special 2 day events called Splatfest & Big Run (which is a more competitive Salmon Run mode). The game is fun but it can be frustrating sometimes too. Would I recommend getting this game? Yes and No. If you like shooters as a genre then yes. If you don’t then no, this is probably not a game you will gravitate too but never say never ;)

This is my favorite Nintendo IP, and this game is the best of the series so far. It has an excellent single player, and an even better multi-player. It is super fun for mind-numbing color painting antics.

My 7yr old and I loooooove this game. Since we bought it about 10 months ago, we play every single day. It’s such a fun, competitive game. It never gets boring.

My favorite game! I played 2,000+ hours of splatoon 2. played competitively for three years. Loved, breathed, slept this game. Splatoon 3 is nothing but the very best that this game can possibly be. The quality of life changes are absolutely INCREDIBLE. Ranked systems where you can pair with friends and keep playing with the same players that you liked in your past lobbies. Ability chunks completely reworked and gear is easier to build with the addition of five gear slots. Replays of past ranked games. All of the core game modes are reworked so it is easier/harder to K.O. (rainmaker is harder and clams is easier which was MUCH needed, especially on the competitive side). They brought back only the best maps and specials, and the new specials make the game even more fast paced than ever. This game is a dream for anyone who wants to play competitively, but just as much so someone who wants to play casually for fun. It is so much fun hopping into a turf war and playing with all of these new weapons and specials which are so unique and niche to Splatoon. I could go on for hours about how amazing this game is. Just simply the atmosphere of this universe and how paint-oriented everything is is simply unfathomable. Everything is unique. A mini gun is actually a ballpoint pen. An Automatic Rifle is a super soaker. A champagne bottle is a weapon that has a first large and far bullet which resembles a champagne bottle exploding. And don’t even get me going with the clothing, the specials. Everything. This is a game that everyone needs to try at least once, because no matter if you are a true gamer or the most casual there is; the game offers that avenue for you. 10/10 game.

This game is crazy fun, I've always played traditional first person shooters like Battlefield and Tarkov, but this really scratches an itch I didnt even know I had.

The BEST online multiplayer game for the Switch 2 to date! The unique gameplay is what makes the Splatoon series one of a kind!

I’m sorry that people had to wait for their codes, but that has nothing to do with gameplay. Just wow. For those wondering what the GAME is like, it’s amazing. The story mode is actually different in comparison to Splat 1 + 2, the new features like not having to sit through the map announcements every 2 hours, the clear attention to detail… It’s amazing. I absolutely LOVE how they did things. If you’re a returning Splatoon 2 player you will actually get rewards for linking your old data. And there are elements from the old games while still keeping it “fresh.” Worth the buy completely!

This is a fun game. Online play is very difficult because everyone is so much better at this game than me.

I love the Splatoon franchise. When I found out that there was a 3rd installment in the series, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the game. I had bought the digital version through Nintendo, but I bought this one from Best Buy to get my friend to play it with me as well. Not only is the game amazing, but Best Buy emailed me a code shortly after my order processed. Can’t say the same about pre-orders, but if the game you’re looking for has released, Best Buy will get you your code.

Game is fire better than most of the modern Call of Duty titles.

It's a fun and unique game, and I enjoy my time whenever I play, but I never feel like booting up the Switch just for this. I've also never played without a friend (apart from the story mode), and never just get any kind of urge to start playing, even when we are both bored. Quite frankly, I feel like I got ripped off, even though I paid $50 instead of $60. I would only recommend it if you can get it for way cheaper, like less than $40.

Buying a game digitally was easy and it was cheaper than ive ever seen it anywhere else!

Wish we had games like this growing up, kids enjoyed it.

This is my first Splatoon game and I can say that it is great! It has a lot of fun content to keep any gamer busy. After hearing so many awesome things about this game, I am glad that I finally picked it up. I highly recommend to anyone.
