Customer Ratings & Reviews

This radar detector is amazing It worked like a breeze too my trip to New York. And the red light cameras pick up pretty good enough time to stop

The Uniden R8W has already saved me from several tickets, and honestly, it kicks. The range is incredible, and the directional arrows make it easy to know where the signal is coming from. The app and connectivity are a big part of what I like about it too. It makes changing settings, customizing alerts, and keeping everything updated really easy. It’s super customizable if you’re smart enough to really dive into the settings. If you’re not, the regular settings I use still work great. The GPS lockouts and filtering keep the annoying false alerts down too. It’s definitely an investment, but for me it has been absolutely worth it. 5/5.

The Uniden R8W has been working great for me. The range is excellent, the display is easy to read, and there are plenty of settings to customize it to how I like to drive. The alerts are clear and it gives me plenty of warning when radar is detected. Overall, I’m very happy with the R8W and would definitely recommend it.

I’ve been using the Uniden R8W for a little while now and so far I really like it. The range is impressive and the display is easy to read. It was simple to set up, and the alerts are clear without being confusing. I’ve used it both around town and on the highway and it has worked great. Definitely feels like a quality product and I’m happy with my purchase.

Wow this thing is amazing alerts you miles ahead plenty of time to slow down

The uniden r8w is a great radar detector. works just as good or better then the ecort redline.

This thing is awesome. I can manually filter signals that offen give falses like other cars blind spot monitors. It automatically locks out falses after a few trips by the same ones like traffic lights. The range is also incredible. I was getting a KA alert over a mile away. Love this detector.

One of the best radar detectors on the market. Has definitely saved me from getting apeeding tickets

This radar is a bit pricey but its range makes up for it. It alerts super far and it already saved me more than 3 times

I was a little skeptic at first with all of the options, but once you set it up with the app and set it for your type of driving you mainly do the detector is crazy good! Definitely would buy again.

5-star pick up 5 to 7 miles away and my Uniden R4 pick up 6 to 8 miles away!!!………………
