Best for traditional style digital painting

I have been wanting one of these forever, and after reading how Wacom has a lot of manufacturing issues, I decided to play it safe and purchase my Cintiq through a licensed vendor.
I jumped to this from a surface laptop and while I missed the touch features at first, I quickly adapted to it (and there is no accidental bumping with my palm which has been nice). I'll still use the surface laptop for sketches, but I will finish them on this Cintiq. When you are hovering a foot over the screen the 4k and HDMI have a noticeable difference (which is why I picked this model over the 16 pen display). When using more traditional style brushes, the Cintiq had a much better experience than the surface laptop, which struggle to pick up pressure sensitivity with heavy data brushes.
I switched out the plastic nib for the felt nib which gave it more of a papery feel to draw on. I also selected the 24 because the 32 felt way too much. This size aligns perfectly with my 27-in IMac (see picture where the mac is on a monitor riser, lifting my Cintiq to a 45-degree angle).
I used to use a drafting desk when I was younger, and this tablet really mimics the feeling of that experience, the bevels are also nice because I can rest my hand, thumbs, remote, or pen in that space without taking up my screen.
The driver had connectivity issues when I was using only the HDMI, but I have been connecting to the display through an HP docking port and when I plugged in the USB and display port all was well.
I've also been using it with the Elgato stream deck which is so nice. (I like the dial part of the remote, but I don't use the other buttons as much because I can never remember what I programmed them to do. The stream deck, on the other hand, labels all the buttons).
This has also been working great with streamlabs OBS, screen recordings, and live stream painting (though my next upgrade is gonna be a 10GB ethernet port with my mac).

Tablet was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I have no complaints, everything has been and came to me without issue. This is my dream tablet and I'm very happy it was treated with care on it's way to me! It's also great to game and watch movies on, but I recommend updating your graphics card to handle the large resolution if you are not used to having a screen this large.

Wacom Cintiqs are the best. I love my new 24" Pro. Best Buy had it in stock when I was ready to buy (online) and they delivered right away. I had set up in my house in 3 days. Great service!

Pros: The Cintiq Pro 24 came well packaged with every possible cable that one might need for setting it up. The ExpressKey remote is very handy (though the touch ring is finicky) and the pen is comfortable and works well. As one might expect from a 4K display, the image is gorgeous and there is extremely little parallax between the pen tip and image because of the very thin glass.
Cons: At the 4K resolution menus are too small to be comfortably unusable for my 65-year-old eyes, and they make selecting items difficult. While lower resolutions can be used, doing so defeats the purpose of buying this display and paying the extra dollars for it. Someone well-versed in keyboard shortcuts, and judicious programming of the remote, could minimize using the onscreen menus, but for a hobbyist like myself it just wasn't enjoyable enough. While it is a beautiful display I just couldn't justify the cost if I were to use it at lower resolutions, so I returned it. Because of its high quality I would recommend it for those who need the high resolution and can work around its limitations, but just be aware of them.

With a new PC running 4k monitors, it was time to upgrade my Cintiq 22HD. This has been on my list for a long time, but wasn't worth until I had hardware to match it.
Pros
• Easy to setup (ran into zero errors with software and program settings)
• Responsive, Smooth, Accurate (superior to the 22HD in all respects)
Cons
• No touch strip or express keys! (The express key remote does not compensate for the removal of buttons on the screen)
• smaller nibs (has a 'clicky' feel to the pen when drawing *see below)
• Fragile (I have already accidentally cracked the glass of the display *see below)
Set up (5/5)
The set up easy - especially if you have been using Wacom products before.
There are several options to plug it into the PC, and after installing the software and drivers, it was ready to use and required only customization for the express keys.
The Cintiq (5/5)
I use it regularly for work (60+ hours a week). I hope it lasts as long as the 22HD (10+ years, 30k+ hours and still running!). It is a definite upgrade in terms of quality. The feel and responsiveness when drawing is incredible. I am happy with the results so far. Because it has VESA mounting capabilities (as did the 22HD) I am using a homemade base that rolls across the table. It always lies flat and at a slight angle, so I can place my keyboard underneath it.
The Pen Pro 2 (now 5/5)
Unfortunately, the pen it came with was damaged, but Wacom support was very helpful and sent me a new one in two days (I was also able to use my old Pro Pen 1 in the meantime)! However, the new pen had the same issue as the damaged; when applying pressure, it would have a 'clicky' feel. Because it has smaller nibs, it is the friction of the nib grabbing the side of the pen hole when at too much of an angle and held at a certain position (I replace the pen grip with one that does not have holes and disable the pen buttons). Both did this, but I did replace the nib and this no longer happens. Now it works and feels exactly the same as my Pro Pen 1.
On-screen Express Keys and Touch Strip (0/5 NA)
The Express Key remote (4/5)
It is a nice remote, and you can set A LOT of buttons to it, but the clutter makes it harder to remember which keys are what and cuts into productivity when I have to take a moment to look at the remote to accurately press the right button. The dial is a little too sensitive, even at its lowest settings, and tends to 'oversteer' for rotation, zoom, pen sizes, etc. Also, even though it has a rubber bottom and is magnetized, it does not rest securely on the screen. The center of the base is slightly arched, so it likes to spin and slide when using. As a result I taped it to the screen, which leads to my next issue.
The screen (4/5)
I had applied double adhesive tape to the edge of the screen to secure the remote, but when removing it, cracked the screen on the top left edge! It was my own mistake, but there is no way the screen should have cracked from it! The 2.75" crack does not reach the visible part of the screen, but it is there and I'm afraid it will spread with time. I had used my original 22HD for over 10 years - it has been through a lot, but it was built tough and still doesn't have a scratch on it after 30k+ hours of use. The screen should not have cracked from something so simple, and never would have happened if I hadn't had to fuss with an extra accessory to compensate for the removal of express keys on the screen itself.
Final Thoughts
It's going to take some time getting used to not having the touch strip and keys near the bottom edge of the screen, but even so, I am very happy with the purchase. I do wish I would have spent a few hundred more for the touch version - that would have removed the need for the touch strip and I may have never damaged the screen by fussing with it.
If I hadn't been raised on a Cintiq with express keys and touch strips on the device itself, the Cintiq 24 Pro would be a solid 5 stars.
It is a beautiful screen (albeit cracked), and I will be using it, hopefully, for many years to come.

It really gives you the feel of working with pencil and paper. The size is great it’s more than enough room to draw with. The pen works phenomenally, there’s no delay when drawing. Overall I’m very happy with this product!

Bright and pretty colors. Feels great to draw on. 4k resoluion gives you plenty of space for program layouts. Pro pen feels good in your hand. Thing i dislike -the grainy look from the screen beings texturized which causes the screen to have a noise effect, the stand accessories are extremely expensive and are pretty much mandatory if you plan using it with comfort. I not longer have mind because the fan in the unit was defective. I would buy again, but bestbuy offers no protection plan for this model.

I am a professional artist and this is by far my favorite piece of equipment in the office. I switched from my Wacom intuos pro medium to this tablet and am blown away by how it performs. I find that there's no lag at all and it feels like paper. The touch is very sensitive and it's really no comparison between this and considering an apple pencil if your a professional digital artist. The only thing I didn't consider before purchasing was that I needed a computer that could output 4k at 60hz. It looked great at 2k, but when I updated my graphics card to an RTX 2070, there was a noticeable difference in what I could see with lighter brush strokes.

I purchased the Cintiq Pro 24 for my daughter who is an animation major. She loves the work surface, ease of use with the pen and remote control options. It's far more sophisticated than the older Cintiqs' her university had available and a great tool to have beyond college as she embarks on her professional career.

It's an amazing screen tablet! Everything is so clear and it is very responsive, setup was nice and easy.
Friendly warning before buying- This is a MONSTER. 24 Inches is no joke.
I only returned mine so I could get a smaller version.
I only reduced a point on Ease of Use because in my personal use (traveling with it or moving to another point in my home), it would be impossible. It's very beg and pretty heavy.

When it comes to drawing, there’s nothing close Wacom. Apple and Samsung have good drawing tablets but the Wacom tablet is miles better. Make sure to get the rotating stand. It’ll make life much easier. Also make sure you’re computer is updated with projects that you’ll use like Photoshop or Mayan otherwise it’s basically at high end pen touch screen.

Wacom tablets are expensive, there's no doubt. This 24 inch has been a long time coming, moving up from a 13HD is like night and day-the amount of space you get is incredible, plus you get 4 usb 3 ports, an SD card reader, and the Wacom remote to program your shortcuts. And you can also view in 4k (as long as your graphics card can handle that.) This unit is very well made, I have it mounted on it Wacom mount and Ergotron LX arm for desk mobility. The Pro Pen2 with 8192 pressure sensistivity is fantastic, and the drawing surface has just enough "tooth" on it to feel like pen on paper. Excellent product, recommend for Photography and graphic designers. Recommended!

$1.5k less than the 27" so worth it. the 27" is not a reasonably priced cintiq, i returned it. i had the 32" but it had some strange dust/screen issues and it is no longer in production but i do miss it; however, i am more than pleased with the 24".
bonus benefit of the 24" is that its light. i mounted it on an arm ina small portable table and it's been great
