We've had this TV for a couple weeks now. Overall impression- This is a great solution if you are adverse to having a black rectangle on your wall for most the day. My wife and I were researching different ways to hide our current TV with swinging doors, TV cabinets, or even hanging art in front of the TV.... all of the options we found were either expensive or cumbersome. I feel this Samsung Frame TV marries a good TV experience with an artistic wow factor. Art Mode- First things first. I personally don't think this looks like a 'real painting' hanging on my wall. BUT- it did trick my father in law who thought we replaced our tv with art and was forced to have a conversation with us during his visit instead of watching basketball :-). I love that the Art Mode dims appropriately with the brightness of the room and has sensors built-in. The 3 other people who have seen it so far complimented it and weren't sure if it was a painting or TV at first. So I call that a 'win.' Picture Quality- It good! Our main goal wasn't achieving best in class OLED quality, but this is definitely good enough and looks great on the wall. I'm happy with it. You can also use the microphone button on the remote to change to Vivid Mode, or Movie mode so you don't have to search through settings. User Experience Samsung Smart TV- I prefer Roku TV but the Samsung TV with the Smart Remote that comes with it is growing on my. I like that when you turn on the TV the home screen remembers what app /service you watched last. For example, it knows I've been watching a TV show on Netflix so it will give a me a shortcut as soon as I turn it on to jump right back to where I was. Smart Remote I love the simple design. I haven't had much/ any luck with the voice commands (Netflix doesn't support voice commands) and I think the universal search option is broken or buggy. Small things I like- 1.) the included No Gap wall mount paired with a picture frame bezel makes it look a great deal like a painting. 2.) Bluetooth built in- Being able to pair your Bluetooth headphones directly to the TV for private listening is nice. 3.) The power button on the remote elegantly also acts as a art mode button. 4.) TV size- We've had a 55" tv for 4+ years but we actually like how discreet this 43" Samsung Frame is. We feel it suits our needs and living room better than the 55" version would have. -Some things I don't like so far (Or haven't found a work around for yet) 1.) The Samsung Remote control app for your iPad or android phone will not recognize this TV. It may work if you have a Samsung phone, but we have iPads and 2 other android phones but it won't find the TV. We also tried with another Samsung TV and no luck. 2.) I wish it worked with Google Home/Assistant. I can turn the TV off with by asking Google Home to turn off the plugged in Chromecast. Unfortunately, it turns the TV completely off and not to Art mode. I called Samsung support but wasn't able to find a fix. It's nit picky, I know, but I like using my voice to turn the TV off. All in all, we really like this TV so far.

The frame TV is perfect when aesthetic appeal is key. We love displaying our personal photos or using the supplied artwork. Most people believe it is original art within a metal frame. The TV is smart and we stream everything. Love it and worth the money.

I really love this tv although I do not spend a lot of time watching it. It was bought for the master bedroom and with my son taking up much of my time these days, I don't get to watch it as often as I'd like. I bought this set because my old Magnavox had died a horrible electrical POPPING NOISE death because I had run the AC all night, then on a very humid morning opened up the windows. Furthermore, without thinking much about the high humidity I turned on the tv to hear a VERY LOUD ARCING NOISE! That was the end of the tv even though I took it apart to replace the main printed circuit board. Thus with the new one installed it still would not work. So it was out with the old and in with the new! Yep, I chucked it for this new Samsung and have been smiling ever since. When I got it home it took me about a week to set it up because I really didn't need it right away. By the time it was up and running I saw that this set had a very nice picture and almost better than my UN65HU8700FXZA. Then again it is a smaller screen size so the resolution appears higher. So I am very happy with this tv and I just need to remember NOT to turn it on on a humid morning after running the AC for most of the night and opening the windows after I shut it off. I do have to admit though that the old Magnavox had a decent picture with a few settings adjustments and the colors really popped on that thing! Aloha, Ken
