I was due for an upgrade last fall but decided to hold off as I wanted to wait for the new HTC One M9. My previous 2 smartphones had been HTC devices and I liked them a lot. As the M9 launch got closer, I also started reading reviews of the S6 and was intrigued. After reading every review I could find on both devices, I ended up pre-ordering the S6. I have had the S6 for a week now and it has been great. The display is amazing. It is lightening fast. And it is thin and light and feels good in the hand. I really only have two quibbles with the S6 thus far. The battery life could be better. I do use my phone all day long and generally have wifi and bluetooth turned on all the time. I am also in the habit of plugging in whenever convenient. When I am at my desk, it sits on the wireless charging pad (works great) and I routinely plug in while in the car. The other is the Touchwiz UI. To me the colors and icons all feel a bit cartoonish. Its like Samsung went to all this trouble to design a sleek and stylish device on the outside and then gave it a UI that looks like it belongs on a toy. Don't get me wrong, the software works just fine. Its just the look of it that bugs me. I am also coming from an HTC device and I think the their Sense overlay is much cleaner. If you are coming from an older Samsung device, you will probably find the newest Touchwiz to be a refreshing update. I've had no problems with the device. sound quality and call quality are very good. The fingerprint reader works flawlessly. Much has been made of the decision to omit the removable battery and SD card. I didn't have/didn't use these are previous devices, so I don't miss them on my S6. I did opt for the 64G variant. I considered the Edge, but figured it was more practical to spend the extra $100 on storage. I'm a function over form kind of guy anyway.

I upgraded from an Galaxy S3 a few weeks ago and wow!!!! This phone rocks! The camera is amazing and takes the best pictures ever! And the speed of the phone awesome as well. And the wireless charging, and this big screen, and the 64 gigs of space built in, and the battery life (usually gets down to 65% by bed time) and so on and so on... BUY THIS PHONE, YOU WILL LOVE IT!!! If you don't need 64 gigs like me, be sure to use Google Photos or some other Cloud service to store your photos and videos... Microsoft One Drive gives you 100 gigs of FREE cloud storage with this phone and Sprint :-)

I love the new S6. It is fast and easy to use. I love the multi-tasking abilities and the new camera on it is awesome! I don't like that you can't change the battery or add memory to it. One of the reasons I've always gone with the Androids over the ipone is the ability to add extra memory and change the battery when needed....stinks that you can't do that anymore! The battery life on this phone sucks! I'm lucky if I can go 1/2 a day before I have to charge it. The fast charge feature is great and fully charges the phone in just over an hour....nice feature, but I would rather see a battery that can last all day!
