We were looking for ways to free up hard drive space on our Mac (movies, pics, backups, etc) and the reviews for this seemed to be great. I can now attest that this portable hard drive is perfect! It was very easy to transfer over the files and it being lightweight is definitely a plus! All in all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase :-)

I went to my nearby Best Buy and they were all out of the PC version of this drive. I bought the mac version and once I got the drive to be seen by the windows computer I formatted and have loved this drive since. It is quick ,quiet and throws off no heat. The size of this drive is excellent. No complaints.

This is small enough to be portable, and has excellent storage capacity for the size. it hooked up easily to my Mac. As with other hard drives, one has to wait to see how stable they are, but in the past I have had good luck with Seagate
