This shredder replaces my 6 year old Royal Paper Shredder. Great Shredder for home use. Small, Quiet, Shreds into micro pieces. Shredder has a built in handle and can lock into the waste basket for portability. Waste basket has clear side view to show capacity of shredded paper. One of the best shredders that I have ever owned.

Works great so far really cuts the paper into fine pieces. It is a bit noisy and I did manage to overheat it one time too much paper. Took about 30 mins to cool down after shredding for about 3 minutes but the paper just stayed jammed. I pulled it out with pliers from the top then let it cool. It still works fine but you could smell the heat. So far it is good not as fast as the Royal it replaced but it does cut the pieces lots smaller. So far all it well. My Staples shredders all burned up some desktops in as little as a few days or just plan jammed up. So as I said so far it works great.

I have broken 2 shredders that claim to be able to take up 8 sheets. I only did 6 sheets and always straightened my papers to make sure there was no doubling over of sheets. Both shredders have conked out on us (one was only shredding 2 sheets at the time). I have been looking for a shredder for over a year! I finally took the chance on this one. It's not as noisy as other shredders but it's still a shredder. It'll make sounds. But so far it's been going strong. I can begin getting rid of old documents and get re-organized!
