This shredder replaces my 6 year old Royal Paper Shredder. Great Shredder for home use. Small, Quiet, Shreds into micro pieces. Shredder has a built in handle and can lock into the waste basket for portability. Waste basket has clear side view to show capacity of shredded paper. One of the best shredders that I have ever owned.

Works great so far really cuts the paper into fine pieces. It is a bit noisy and I did manage to overheat it one time too much paper. Took about 30 mins to cool down after shredding for about 3 minutes but the paper just stayed jammed. I pulled it out with pliers from the top then let it cool. It still works fine but you could smell the heat. So far it is good not as fast as the Royal it replaced but it does cut the pieces lots smaller. So far all it well. My Staples shredders all burned up some desktops in as little as a few days or just plan jammed up. So as I said so far it works great.

I have broken 2 shredders that claim to be able to take up 8 sheets. I only did 6 sheets and always straightened my papers to make sure there was no doubling over of sheets. Both shredders have conked out on us (one was only shredding 2 sheets at the time). I have been looking for a shredder for over a year! I finally took the chance on this one. It's not as noisy as other shredders but it's still a shredder. It'll make sounds. But so far it's been going strong. I can begin getting rid of old documents and get re-organized!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son last Christmas (I know - easily pleased right?) and he loves it! His only complaint is that he wishes the bin held more (he just doesn't like emptying it). Anyway, it cost less than comparable shredders last year and seemed to be better. So I'm happy and he's happy. Money well spent!

I have use this for a few months now and enjoy this product. Shreds well, not too noisy, does not get jammed.

Ordered online and received it way faster than I expected. No issues so far, in fact, it works much better than the shredder that it's replacing.

This compact size shredder is just perfect for my home. It can handle several sheets of paper at one time and even cuts up credit cards too. Worried about Identity theft? This one cuts into tiny micro pieces. Handle to lift off the top to empty the basket and clear side strips so you can easily see how much paper is inside the basket. Auto off too.

Shreds paper into little tiny pieces which are unable to read. Very good for protecting your identity from thieves. Big waste basket is a plus. Handles 8 sheets & credit cards very well.

I finally bought a decent shredder. This thing grinds the sheets into little pieces. great for home use..make a little noise but that's alright.

This is a fantastic shredder for home use. It has a safety trigger that has to be pressed (just below the top part) before it starts. This ensures the top part is properly connected to the bin for safety to help prevent it from falling off or coming apart while shredding. Fast and not that loud.

Great shredder, cuts anything into tiny pieces no matter how you put it in.

Purchased this particular shredder because it was on sale on-line for about half the price. I needed a new one, old one broke, and had lots of papers to shred. It does what it says it will do. The extra bonus is that the shredder has a handle on it so it makes it easy to lift off of the wastebasket that comes with it. It is crosscut and makes a smaller bundle from a large pile of papers. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a shredder. Finding it at half price was the ultimate attention getter.

Works very well for a home office or strictly personal use, not too loud, not too large, not too heavy. The handle makes it very easy to move around and empty as it does not have any wheels and you don't need them. The window at the side is convenience to see how full it is. For my use it is just perfect.

This works much better than my old shredder. The sealed box resulted in a cleaner operation.

I bought this shredder about two years ago (forgot to review before but now I have much more experience with it). I wanted a shredder to safely destroy sensitive documents. The microcut shredding is excellent and I feel safe enough with the confetti size cuts. The shredder can also handle credit card which is a nice feature. When shredding few sheets together, the shredding slows and it feels like the shredder is struggling. To avoid over hit (that will require me to wait till cool down), I avoid shred more than 2-3 sheets together. With my low shredding load, it is not an issue for me. With my low shredding load, microcut shredding and the relative low price, it is great shredder for me.

This is a very effective shredder. Cuts paper very small pieces.

The only reason that I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is that when you feed multiple sheets in at a time like (6 - 8) it starts to give of a burning smell. Other than that, it cuts very effectively and doesn't make up too much noise.

Shredder made andexcxes examines and great deal I got it on sale,no overheating, stops when bin full, cds cc, Staples no problem. and when they say. Micro it’s so tiny you could neverpiece together...!!,

My rating of 4 is based on the weight of the shredder. It does an excellent job. I really like it, but I can not give it a 5 because some people would have a difficult time emptying the shredder.

this thing work perfect, it never gets stuck like other paper shredders, and it takes a lot of paper at a time. shredders as advertised.
