This is a nice shredder my only complaint is there is no see thru area to see when it is full

Great shredder cross cut all that I need and the cross cut is a nice feature

Will only take one sheet at a time and even then it shows an error. From pulling it out of the box it's been about useless. Running one piece of notebook paper at a time is pointless. Searching for a replacement now.

the first one did nothing at all. The second one seems to labor with more than 3 sheets.

I bought this on a whim replacing an $150 Activa shredder that lasted only about a year. To my surprise, this Sentinel works great especially given its low price. Its fairly quiet and microshreds to fine little squares providing a little added security and space savings increasing time between bin dumps. Works a lot better than expected given the price. It has sufficient power to shred thick envelops without having to open and parse into individual sheets. I am hoping this Sentinel unit will last longer my last one. So far so good. Recommended.

I regretted buying it and I am glad I took it back .

The motor sounds like it's struggling if you are shredding more than two sheets at a time. So, limit your shredding to only two sheets at a time to save the motor. Shredder overheats (and stops working) after shredding two sheets at a time for four minutes. It takes a half hour to recover. Then, you can only shred two sheets before it overheats again. If you have only occasional shredding of one or two sheets, you're good. It'll work. But, if you have more than four minutes of shredding (going only two sheets at a time), this will overheat and leave you with a stack of paper to shred at a later time.

Great shredder and price! I have had no issues after shredding many papers.

before it broke when i would shred paper it would stop and i had to open it and remove some paper from this small part inside that makes the shredder stop. It would shred the paper and push up against it all the time. Now it broke and stopped shredding after only a few months. It started out great and I gave great review at first. This is my 2 month review.
