Customers regard the picture quality of the 65" Class A8G Series OLED 4K UHD Smart Android TV as fabulous and excellent overall. They appreciate the OLED display for its vibrant colors and deep blacks. The TV's color is also highly praised for being sharp out of the box. Although some find the remote control to be lacking and the TV expensive, many customers are pleased with the price they paid.
Finally losing our trusty 55 inch, 15 year old, Sony HDTV, we purchased this Sony, 65", OLED, A8G, 4K UHD with HDR as a replacement. Wow! After installing it (it took a bit to get it the way we like it) we are finding that, so far, the A8G is reliable, capable, with a picture quality that is hard to imagine. For example, we have watched 4K Youtube travel content and the best we can say is: "It's like we were there! We were concerned, reading reviews, about the OLED brightness, but, that was to no avail as we have had to back off the brightness to 10% to stop from going blind. :-) The IR Blaster works great as it controls our Comcast Set Top Box with -almost- every feature (lacking only voice searching and an "info" button). The screen is so thin we are almost afraid to touch it....and the TV was light enough for one person to install it. It remains to be seen how long the A8G will last (it has huge shoes to fill!) but, we hope to enjoy this for many years to come.

This television redefines black levels! I know that LG supplies the oled panels, but Sony knows how to drive that panel for optimum color balance. Sony is the only 4K television certified by the motion film association! I have always felt that Sony gave a better picture than their competitors, and still do! And Best Buy is the place to buy it or any other consumer electronics product! They are truly on the ball!

So I have had this TV about 5 months now which I wanted to wait a little bit before I reviewed it! This TV is hands down the best TV I have ever owned outside of one factor.... Gaming, and the reason why I say that is because there is input lag between your controller and the response time it takes to notice that motion on the TV. If you can designate this TV for just watching regular shows and Movies and such, you will be very satisfied. Just stay away if you are an avid gamer. Just my opinion and ive tried everything to fix it. Now if someone has this TV and does game on it and figured out how to correct that, then let me know please!
