You cannot buy a clearer or brighter center than this SVS ULTRA. Music or movies or TV is completely insane. I shopped for weeks and listened to about a dozen and kept coming back to the SVS Ultra. Forget spending twice as much and don’t settle for less you will be blown away. This thing is big and heavy (31 lb) make sure u have clearance in the shelf, I had to buy a new shelf for Marantz SR8015 and the Ultra Center. Not sure how I lived without this awesome speaker. I’m thinking it likes power to drive it I’m using 140w per channel and that seems to be plenty. The build quality is first rate this is an extremely well built speaker and SVS customer service is second to none. I must give Best Buy kudos here too they brought the speaker in for me (not in store had to order) and brought out to my car when it came in along with 24 month interest FREE financing! Home Run!

I bought this center to complement by SVS ultra bookshelves and my SB16 Ultra. This center has been nothing short of amazing and I will recommend it without any reservation at all.

The Center Ultra speaker is fabulous. It is clear and full. It really has changed how my surround sound sounds. There isn’t much more I can say except I’m glad I spent the extra and got the Ultra series. I’m going to upgrade my fronts to the SVS Ultra Towers. Actually I’m upgrading all my speakers to the SVS ultra series….. eventually. They are not cheap, but worth the wait. I was using a 14 year old definitive technology center.. you can see in the picture the difference in size.
