You cannot buy a clearer or brighter center than this SVS ULTRA. Music or movies or TV is completely insane. I shopped for weeks and listened to about a dozen and kept coming back to the SVS Ultra. Forget spending twice as much and don’t settle for less you will be blown away. This thing is big and heavy (31 lb) make sure u have clearance in the shelf, I had to buy a new shelf for Marantz SR8015 and the Ultra Center. Not sure how I lived without this awesome speaker. I’m thinking it likes power to drive it I’m using 140w per channel and that seems to be plenty. The build quality is first rate this is an extremely well built speaker and SVS customer service is second to none. I must give Best Buy kudos here too they brought the speaker in for me (not in store had to order) and brought out to my car when it came in along with 24 month interest FREE financing! Home Run!

I bought this center to complement by SVS ultra bookshelves and my SB16 Ultra. This center has been nothing short of amazing and I will recommend it without any reservation at all.

The Center Ultra speaker is fabulous. It is clear and full. It really has changed how my surround sound sounds. There isn’t much more I can say except I’m glad I spent the extra and got the Ultra series. I’m going to upgrade my fronts to the SVS Ultra Towers. Actually I’m upgrading all my speakers to the SVS ultra series….. eventually. They are not cheap, but worth the wait. I was using a 14 year old definitive technology center.. you can see in the picture the difference in size.

Love the sound quality but in my opinion it's a little bit bulky

This Ultra Center completes our dream theater. Epic warm sound, blows the dual Polk T30's externally amped by a land slide. Spend the money on the Ultra it's worth it.

This is the 2nd SVS product I have bought, and it won't be the last. The vocals come through very nice. The build quality is top notch. One on the only 3-way center channels at this price range! Highly recommended!

Just like everybody else that hears this speaker says, it’s just about the best center you’re gonna have the pleasures of listening to. Sure the price is way up there but tell ya what. You won’t send it back. I’m glad I bought it and my Pinnacles and Ultra Bookshelves are gonna blend with this Ultra Center so sweetly I can’t wait the three more days to add them. So long Definitive HELLO SVS! Hehe, wait till the SVS amp gets here too! I’m gonna be in heaven!

I bought this to replace an old Polk center channel I had for a few years now. It is much bigger then the old one but still fits perfectly in the entertainment center. Sound quality is definitely better right from day one. I am so impressed I will be buying SVS tower speakers to match. The piano black is beautiful unfortunately since it’s in the entertainment center, it doesn’t really show with the front screen on it.

Great sound and vocal clarity from a medium priced center channel speaker.

If you watch any movies, please spend the money and invest in a quality center channel. This one is a beast as far as size and weight. It creates a beautiful stage of sound when tracks move left to right and is very crisp and clear. Very happy

One of the clearest sounding center channel speakers within its price range, the SVS Ultra Center Channel is the perfect addition to your system. The dialogue in movies was extremely crisp and clear as it could handle anything that was thrown at it. I have this paired with the SVS Ultra bookshelf speakers as well as an SB-2000 and it rivals the experience you get at the movies. Even at extremely tense moments in shows like Game of Thrones, the center channel was able to keep up beautifully in battle scenes and you could hear every grunt and noise over the battle that you had never heard before. It does not get lost and is the vocal point of the system as it delivers amazing results. Additionally, this outstanding speaker ties together your system beautifully if you decide to listen to music in a 5.1 setting.

SVS center channel blows away the comparison of others in this price range. Crisp clear highs mid bass is blended perfect with the bass of these 6 1/2 woofers give off. You know the old saying quality isn’t cheap. My final thoughts are sample many but don’t cheap out in the end.

Looking to replace a 10+ year old Definitive Technology Center model 2002, still working and moved to use in another room for something new and improved. After too many reviews of them all decided to try the SVS - Ultra Dual.Center with piano finish. Very well pleased with the clarity of the speaker, Didn’t need a speaker with a larger subwoofer, have towers with subwoofer and dual subwoofers. Looking for clean sound from the center and got what I was looking for. Also have a pair of Klipsch RP-500SA for Atmos, which have on top of the towers, soon to be wall mounted. Also reviewing towers, again upgrading the 10 year old Definitive speakers however that choice is challenging, since most towers are woofer full, looking for tweeter and midrange strong speaker ker but that’s another review.

Excellent clarity, i hear every little detail that you would normally Not hear on regular tv sound. Very happy with the speaker

So far sounds great. Svs has never let me down. The piano gloss is beautiful.

I read a lot of reviews on this speaker before buying. They were right when they said this speaker is awesome. Quite an improvement over my old Polk 2-Way speaker

This is the perfect addition and final piece of our SVS theater. Sound is warm and excellent. Coming from a pair of Polk T30 externally amped. This center kills them.
