Needed to upgrade from a Huawei where I kept running out of storage. Even though I'm a woman of a certain age and don't need or do all the fancy things that younger folks use their phones for, I needed more storage. This phone has plenty of storage for my needs and the larger screen makes it easier to read. Battery life is good (only need to charge every few days as I am not on the phone constantly). Speed is good. Price was excellent. Definitely recommend.

I've had this phone for under 2 months. The back cover has burn marks from charging and the screen completely malfunctions if used too long. Now it's not charging right. Brought phone back to store and was told to bother Samsung bc the store only covered it for 2 weeks.

as always, before purchasing a device, I did my homework, read reviews here, elsewhere, even watched a few youtube video reviews, and made the decision to pull the trigger when this device came on sale. a snappy fast phone, gets a signal darn near anywhere, and..unlike my last phone(an LG) I actually get my texts within a minute of my contacts sending them, and I can actually take calls indoors. the..off placement of the speaker is hardly conventional, but, and I was honestly surprised at this, the speaker puts out some pretty good quality audio, wouldnt have expected that of a dinky speaker either.. the front facing camera is a bit..wonky but what do you expect from a 5mp camera? experienced photo buffs however should be able to get decent use out of this. the rear facing 2mp camera...is pretty much the only real failing of this phone. the baffling part...is play movies offering me hd downloads on a 5 inch display, where I wouldnt really receive much benefit of said hd content, though I will comment that the phone plays my movies without question, complaint, nor the slightest hint of a stutter, a real surprise, and one that actually prompted me to yank my class u1 memory card from my flaky tablet..best move I ever made. the screen is smooth and responsive, the device light in hand, feels real light, and can get really super bright when set to outdoor mode. it has a flash which doubles as a flashlight, always good to see on a mobile phone. the other minor cavet and one that ALMOST saw me returning to the store for help...was the back cover. it does NOT want to come off, which made me think I might perhaps need help with the battery installation. so, for perspective buyers, this is NOT a defect, though it is definitely concerning. it pairs so readily with my memorex bluetooth headphones it isnt even funny, and the audio quality is superb, no hint of any signal breakup...I went 30 feet away, down the hall to my bedroom with the headphones on, forgot I left the phone on the dining room table, and the phone kept pumping my music without so much as a hint of a complaint. I would recommend screen protection of some kind for this device as a general rule of thumb. all in all, I am VERY pleased with this device.
