I got this drive for a mere $79 because I needed to store my movies somewhere besides on my laptop. I needed a drive that would work with my Roku and WD has always been dependable. I have 4 of these now in various sizes, and I wouldn't go with anything else. Cost effective, dependable and EXTREMELY fast on USB 3.0.

Using three of these disks to provide off-site backup for three of our Macs. They were easy to setup for TimeMachine I just had to reformat them for a Mac. I have had no issues with them.
