i purchased this as a gift for my son. It has an autonomous mode where it kind of does its own thing. And a remote control mode where you can drive it around. There are sensors for hand controls but my son had trouble getting proper responses. It is fun to play with and the technology that comes together is impressive. The battery seemed to last about 30 minutes to an hour between recharges. It seems that adults appreciate the behaviors more than children.

I've found myself playing with this dinosaur along with my nephew whom I purchased it for. The dinosaur is much more interesting than I thought it would be when I purchased it. I thought it was essentially a remote control dinosaur, which he would have loved also. Instead the remote is just an auxiliary control mechanism and the dinosaur itself is the toy. It balances and responds to stimuli. It behaves well when you treat it well and reacts angrily if you mistreat it. All in all a fascinating toy.

This product is a lot of fun, does everything as advertised. My only critique would be the age range. The age range should be higher for complete understanding of how to use the product.
