i purchased this as a gift for my son. It has an autonomous mode where it kind of does its own thing. And a remote control mode where you can drive it around. There are sensors for hand controls but my son had trouble getting proper responses. It is fun to play with and the technology that comes together is impressive. The battery seemed to last about 30 minutes to an hour between recharges. It seems that adults appreciate the behaviors more than children.

I've found myself playing with this dinosaur along with my nephew whom I purchased it for. The dinosaur is much more interesting than I thought it would be when I purchased it. I thought it was essentially a remote control dinosaur, which he would have loved also. Instead the remote is just an auxiliary control mechanism and the dinosaur itself is the toy. It balances and responds to stimuli. It behaves well when you treat it well and reacts angrily if you mistreat it. All in all a fascinating toy.

This product is a lot of fun, does everything as advertised. My only critique would be the age range. The age range should be higher for complete understanding of how to use the product.

I love the Dino. He does a lot of different things. Also, if you pull his tail he gets mad. Really fun toy overall. Well made and easy to control.

This was a hit around the Christmas tree with the whole family. It worked right out of the box and we enjoyed watching all the antics. Downside: short battery life and long charge time.

Purchased for my 5 year old. After reviewing instructions with him he was off and running. It has provided many hours of fun. Little pricey but it seems like a sturdy toy.

For a kid that isn't old enough to control a car or flying remote, this is the perfect toy. Push any button and it just does something and it will always surprise. It was hard to give up the controls and actually let my nephew play with it! Super fun!

Wonderful gift! As soon as my nephew opened the box his face lit up! It was truly whimsical for the entire family. I would recommend learning the commands and teaching small children. However, my nephew was 5 and seemed to catch on quickly.

Took some time to get used to and my son still does not know what all the colors are for, but he enjoys the dino itself. Instructions a little lacking.

Bought this for my son (6 yrs old); he loves this guy...plays with it daily! Also, he said it is easy to play with; and recommends this guy to his friends!

My son likes it but it doesn't stay charged for long and just rolls around it seems. Still my kid does like it a lot...for a week

It's lots of fun, the only issue is the battery it only last 15 to 20 minutes then you have to recharge.

Kids love it, now my girls want the puppy. You do need to teach the tricks, but fun afterwards.

They could not stop messing around with it after they figured out the hand motion controls

My nephew loved this for about two weeks, but that has more to do with the short attention span of a five year old than the product itself. The dino was fun, but I found the controllers slightly confusing.

Got this as a gift for my 6 yr old child. Entertaining toy for the entire family. The durability of the product was poor though considering the price tag of this item.

We tested this out before we sent it to our nephews; OMG I wish this type of toy was available when I was a kid it was so lifelike it's as if it was a real live curious and spunky dog that threw tantrums every once in a while. #Beyondlifelike

Great toy. Just would like it to do more. Fun only for a little while.

I purchased this for my 5 year olds birthday. It takes a little bit to figure out but once you get all the commands it is quite entertaining.
