They worked great for the first month or so and then started giving false alarms constantly. Got to the point where they were completely unusable and we had to remove the batteries because they kept going off so much. Giving 2 stars as they work well with our Ring system and send alerts through the Ring app which is nice. If there weren’t so many false alarms this would be a great product.

The ones in my home are currently wired so this did not work for me. Ring needs a wired version.. I guess their fix to add to your current system is the listener. .. I rather an actual alarm.. This went back..

Held a flame around it, under it, smoke around it, took at least a full minute to finally sound the alarm. Says it has false alarm prevention but my hard wired alarm immediately sounds with smoke to it, not this one. Alerts phone thru ring which is nice but problem is half the house would be on fire before it notifying.
