No nonsense Tracker!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the basic fitness tracker. It has the necessary features that are needed for the average fitness savvy person, tracks no of steps, sleep, alarms, reminders, phone notification. The beat part is it is light and waterproof for those who swim. No fancy features or display... I leave that to my Tag Heuer Definitely recommend for no nonsense people

Simple and Easy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use, no frills. This is the option if you like your current watch and just want to track your exercise and sleeping habits. The battery lasts a really decent time, at least 5 days. Quick and easy to recharge. Getting wet not an issue. Flexible and less liable to damage than other models. Recommend over all other options.

Reliable and Fun at a Great Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased this activity tracker to participate in a group challenge at work that measured steps for the workweek. I'm glad I did! One of the biggest pluses I can say about this comes with the battery life on each charge. Being able to have this monitor on you for days at a time without worrying about battery is a gigantic positive! If you are looking to get a very consistent reading on your activity - what better way than truly wearing it for extended periods of time? This activity tracker is also water resistant which is another notch in the "I don't have to take it off for certain activities" plus! So far I have had not had any issues with any exposure to water and look forward to trying this in the summer when swimming may come into my fitness routine. The accompanying app and website for iOS has been a pleasure to use and has a lot of different options to see your progress. Although I don't really use the notification ability - it's nice to know that it is there. The goal reaching alert though always gives me a boost when I realize I reached my goal for the day! One feature that I was very interested in checking out was the sleep monitor. Granted this isn't hooked into brain waves or anything like that, but I must say, for me at least this feature was scary accurate. I know people have had mixed results on this, but to my best knowledge, the "restless" moments during the night were spot on and the hours count was eye opening (both in accuracy and the fact I'm not getting as much as I should be)! The fact that this has been accurate also highlights how I can wear the tracker for days without charging. If I had to charge it every day I'd charge it while sleeping! In terms of fit and feel, there's enough on the included band to find the right fit that I forget that it's even there. Long sleeve and even during intense HIIT workouts, it does NOT get in the way during pushups or any other type of activity that has given me trouble on other wearables. Granted there's no screen so it's a lot slimmer - but at the same time the no screen is also a plus with the slim structure! So if you're wondering why I didn't give it a full 5 stars - I would simply say because of the fact it is somewhat limited in readings. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn't have every feature you might be in the market for - you may want to get a more advanced model for heart rate for example. For it's class though, this product is top notch and if the feature set fits your needs I wouldn't hesitate at all buying this wearable!

Love my fitbit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love that it's water resistant and easy to wear! my only note is that the charge didn't always take initially; had to trouble shoot this but good news is that i was then able to resolve. i would recommend!

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a Fitbit and considered several different models. I decided to go with the flex 2 for a few reasons. One, I’m always on a baseball field and rain happens, so gave me piece of mind that it is water resistant. Second, I read that scratching was an issue with other models and I know how rough I can be, so the flex 2 takes away that scare. And lastly, all the information I need from the flex 2 is readily available on my smartphone. Been wearing it for a few weeks now and am very, very happy with it. The battery doesn’t last 5 days like they say it does, but I’ve been getting 3 days per full charge roughly which is still good enough.

Comfortable Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this tracker because it has all the functions I want with the exception of a heart rate monitor and a screen. Although I really wanted those features it was more important to me that it was comfortable to wear and was waterproof. If the Alta HR were waterproof I would have purchased that model.

accurate, stable connection to phone, good app
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the app keeps being improved by developer, and the band shows no sign of damage after more than 6 months of daily use (including swimming in ocean, taking showers with it, sweaty workout sessions, rough play with kids) only gripe is about the battery life. it doesn't make it to a full week (7 days). manufacturer doesn't claim that, but I've had other bands (jawbone, which unfortunately had design issues on the band itself, not the electronics) similar in size which went for a solid 7 days and were also waterproof. other than that, this is as solid as it gets for a semi-serious fitness tracker enthusiast. it seems more accurate in step tracking than my samsung watch, and the sleep tracker is top notch.

Nice upgrade from my original Fitbit!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Fitbit Flex 2 to replace my original Fitbit Flex I've owned for four years. The Flex 2 had the features I wanted in being waterproof and able to give notifications for texts and phone calls. The band is nicer looking than the original Flex and the clasp seems to be more secure. It has the features of an alarm, sleep tracking (which is spot on in my case), and of course the step counter. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fitness tracker who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on one. This does everything I need it to do!

Love my FITBIT Flex 2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the first flex and I really liked it. I don't need to have bells and whistles -- I need to know how many steps I'm walking each day. That is it. What I like about the new Flex 2 is that the band is thinner. I have small bones/wrists so I like the bracelets that are thinner. Also, this feels like different material. The old Flex I had to take it off every single night it bugged me so much; this one I do not have to take off. Some of the problems I'm having is that in order for it to be synched all the time, the bluetooth in my phone has to be on. But that isn't enough either -- I have to log in (I try to every morning) so that I at least get the notification for low battery. The bottom line is this part of the Flex could be fixed (I'm sure w/a software update?). The old flex you knew ASAP if your battery was low. It would last about a week. This one, even tho I sync most days, I don't know if my battery is getting low. Also, this battery expires after about 4 days. The new Flex I can use in the pool WHOOP - this is the BEST part for me personally. I also like the new dashboard where I can see how many hours in my day I've been active. And lastly, I do sort of use the sleep information -- I have no reason to use the food, or water parts. I would recommend this.

Fitbit flex 2 is great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can swim and record your laps with the Fitbit 2. It also vibrates when you get a text or phone call. It tracks sleep, steps, and miles.

Simple and out of the way.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So both me and the wife have a Flex 2. This model is small and doesn't have a display like some of the watch style data trackers. But that is what I like about the Flex 2. It's not big so I can still wear my regular wrist watch. And by using the phone app I can still track all my stats. Steps, calories burned, hours slept etc. It even vibrates to notify me if I have a text or call coming in on my phone. It is water resistant so it's ok to wear in the shower and even in the pool.

Great for Swimmers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this FitBit for my wife who is a swimmer. Many other bands aren't waterproof. This one is, it tracks swim strokes, and is an attractive, affordable alternative to other trackers.

Poor battery life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to love my Fitbit flex 2, but the battery life left me wanting. I like the fact the you can wear it pretty much anywhere as it's water resistant. I actually wore it while running a 5k obstacle coarse. It does it's job and relatively inexpensive. Fitbit states battery life of around 5 days. I find I have to recharge every 3. Other than that no issues.

Great product for the money.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was great for the price, love that it is water proof. Even the one that cost more money isn't water proof. Easy to use, and easy to work, has some nice features.

Just what I wanted
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't wear a watch normally so I wanted something really thin that I would actually wear without being bothered while awake or asleep. I like that I can wear it swimming and in the shower and that it vibrates for reminders to move and has the other alarms for calls and such. I wish the battery life was longer and that the reminder to move could be adjusted, like to 15 min before the hour, but ten minutes til works ok too.

Starter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fitbit Flex 2 is the perfect starter tracking device. It's slim design looks good around the wrist. It's also comfortable. The big plus is it's water proof. You can actually jump in the pool while wearing it. However, it is just a starter. It does not have ALL the bells and whistles, such as heart rate. For someone who likes to keep it simple, yet functional, it works just fine.

Just what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just the tracker I needed for activity and sleep tracking. Love that it is waterproof, and that you see that there is a text / call on your phone. Sleek and unobtrusive. I love that you can also wear in other type of accessories for going out, in the office, etc. and not look like you're wearing a fitness band. Purchased as a replacement for a lost Jawbone UP2 with the skinnier bands.

Great activity tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fitbit flex 2 is a great activity tracker as well as a sleep tracker. The fit bit program available on the IOS and Android phone platform allow you to be super competitive with friends and other individuals using the fit bit trackers. The battery life for me would be a few days. It states up to 5 days in the instructions. The fit bit will vibrate for incoming text notifications as well as incoming calls. The tracker is water proof and the band seems to be constructed of durable materials. Over all I would recommend the fit bit flex 2.
