    Refrigerator looks nice from outside. It is definitely not made for short people or kids. You can barely reach anything in it. Also, if you have a water softener, you cannot make Kraft ice correctly. Which sales person should tell someone. The door does not stay at temperature to keep milk in, which is why we bought it for kids to get milk out was told it would stay cold in there. The refrigerator itself does stay cold and looks nice. I wish shelves would move around and more spots for taller and smaller items.

    Love the refrigerator. Best buy servise was worst but refrigerator is good when finally was ready to use after 2 weeks.

    Disappointed so far.. Had the first refrigerator for just over a week and had to be replaced when the freezer stop working. The ice takes forever to make. Great looking refrigerator and love the space. The craft ice is a nice feature but not worth sacrificing making regular ice for it.

    Nifty features, poor quality

    Despite the cool features, I'm very unimpressed and even disappointed in the quality and reliability. We replaced it twice. The first one came with a damaged cord/plug, and then once we fixed it, it wouldn't cool! The replacement came with a big scratch on the front (despite having it inspected in the store), the second replacement seems to work, but has crooked doors, which messes up the experience, and on such a premium unit should be purely unacceptable. We left it, only because we didn't want to prolong the horrendous experience. I really hope it won't fail on us soon...

    For the price, this thing is a dud

    This fridge looks premium, and I'm sure it acts premium after a week or so. But I've not had this thing for a week. Our old fridge had a setting above the water dispenser, and it told you the actual temparature. This fridge is at least twice as expensive as our last fridge - but the numbers above the fridge tell you the set temparature (NOT the actual temperature). This seems a bit odd to me. The wifi, for whatever reason, wasn't even available for me to connect to my phone for a couple of hours. I would have thought it was my phone, except that the fridge did have a wifi it was sending out (just not the one you need to pair it with the LG app). It seems to me that if you have a "smart" anything, plug and play should be the norm (not "give it a few hours to warm up and then try to use it"). Lastly, speaking of "smart" and "plug and play" - if you think you will need ice within 48 hours of owning this thing buy a bag at the store (or buy a different fridge). That's right, this thing can't be expected to produce ice for two days after being plugged in. I'm 48 hours into ownership, but the "you won't have ice for a while" was not part of the plan. AND, speaking of ice, LG wants you to set the freezer to -4 if you want optimal ice production. This wouldn't be an issue if the previous fridge we owned did just fine, with more reasonable production set at 0). The previous ice maker was a fantastic ice machine. This one seems dubious, especially since it tells you that if it's not making enough ice you may actually need a different fridge (seriously, it's on the in-door ice maker). I haven't used the ice balls yet, but I'm sure they will be nice. In the end, I'm sure this thing will be great. But for the price, it is not what I expected.

    Our Refrigerator Purchase & Delivery Experience

    I am very upset with Best Buy! We scheduled delivery for Friday, April 4th including the costs for delivery, installation and haul away over 3 1/2 weeks ago and there was no reason for it being rescheduled noted. We paid good money for the on time delivery and we received NO phone calls from anyone regarding any delays. Suddenly, the afternoon before delivery, we received a email notifying us that someone had canceled our April 4th delivery, making NO attempt to contact us by phone regarding our urgent need. We have been without a refrigerator now for well over 3 1/2 weeks and was depending on Best Buy to insure the on time delivery. Even though we made every effort to make sure we were ready and were told they have the refrigerator in their possession, the delivery service suddenly (the afternoon before delivery) decided to make us wait an additional week (Friday, April 11th) for their delivery without any explanation. I called Best Buy and expressed our dismay. The Escalation Department did finally call me while I was writing this review and I expressed our need and urgency to them. The Escalation Department is supposed to call us back again tomorrow to see if they can get the refrigerator delivered to us any sooner. Perhaps they should muster greater control over their delivery service department. All we can do now is wait and keep our fingers crossed.

    I bought this fridge to replace a failing unit from a competitor. At the time, it was the biggest unit that I could found, and was told that manufacturers are. O longer making units as big as the one this replaced. So far I have mixed feeling about the unit: first, it took an all of 24 hours to get up to temperature. I think this might be normal, but very odd behavior for a new $3k+ unit. In addition, and perhaps my biggest dissapoinment is that I paid extra to get the fingerproof unit...however this unit may be everything BUT smochproof. I find myself having to wipe it down much more than my previous unit. Something else to note didnt hit me until I got home is that to change from water and ice dispensing tiu have to select accordingly switch between the two. My previous unit had a lever behind a lever...requiring less touching of the unit. The through the door window is gimmicky but nice to have, if you organize things. The best think this has is the middle drawer is customizable giving it multiple uses. Overall it's a nice unit...they nist dont make them like they used to.

    It's been 2 years since we purchased this refrigerator. Features such as the French door & middle bin (e.g., for sodas, bottles) are convenient & freezer room is spacious. But the ice maker leaves more to be desired. The craft ice maker stopped working a few months ago & had to be repaired. Then both ice makers are now malfunctioning and are in need of repair. Rather disappointing & problematic because you need to empty all the food/drinks from the whole unit in order for repairs to be completed & of course, there is lost time involved in scheduling and waiting for repairs to be completed.

    Risky Temperature Control

    Took almost a week for it it his fridge temperature. See-through door shelves are isolated and fan that is supposed to move chilled air into compartment is insufficient. Two digital thermometers verify temp in door compartment will not drop below 40 degrees. Do NOT store milk, cream, or other perishables in this compartment! We've had a BB service tech out, he spoke to LG, they do not have a fix or a plan. That's a LOT of storage space lost due to insufficient temperature.

    Love everything about this refrigerator except the craft ice maker. It broke after only 2months. LG replaced it under warranty and now just 2 months later the second one has stopped working. Clearly a very poor design.

    Love tge design and storage room and options for our LG 29.5 CU Ft 4 door French with craft ice. I will say though that we have experienced several frustrating issues with both the top icemaker as well as the craft ice maker not working. If it weren't for that, I would have rated it a 5 star.

    First fridge was damaged Second fridge delivered a week later by one agent no install After three more days came the install and door was missing seal The third fridge is now here but not making craft ice Waiting for new ice unit to be installed Other than all this a very nice fridge

    This is the first time I purchase an LG. I am not happy. I feel so cheated. We had a Whirlpool refidge and it went bad. We liked the new, sleek and modern feel of the LG and it was the right price and available. Beside my better judgement I purchased this fridge. Needless to say I am underwhelmed and disappointed. This fridge is all hype. The peek a boo door is a joke. No purpose but laziness. The converter drawer is the coolest thing on this fridge. I have not seen those craft ice balls so... We have had this refrigerator for about 3 to 4 months now and I HATE it and very rarely use that word. My older fridge dispensed the water on its own, this one is such a waste of time. So so disappointed. We will never purchase LG again just due to that. So fancy to offer nothing really.

    Would love the fridge if it wasn't for the regular ice maker. It has plenty of space and the craft ice maker is awesome. However, the regular ice maker has stopped working twice within the first two weeks and if the craft ice maker didn't work I'd be sending it back. I expected better for the 4k price tag.

    The fridge looks great, but the craft ice maker does not work. I spent a week trying different temps, but still nothing. I called customer care and scheduled an appt, but the guy was a no show, no I'm scheduled for 2 more weeks out. We paid over $4k for this fridge-our expectation is that EVERYTHING SHOULD WORK wether its just a technical issue or the fridge needs to be replaced. Also, please read other reviews. The craft ice maker only makes 3-6. balls within 48hours. Not worth the experience...

    The refrigerator looks amazing; However, the space in between compartments in the fridge are odd size and it’s either too tall or too small. A lot of our condiments ended up in the vegetable drawer. Left door also did not completely closed. There is a flap that’s supposed to close and mine stay open allowing air to leak out of the fridge.

    I do Love my new fridge. We replaced our 15 year old side by side. However this has things I really don't like about it and had I known may have chosen a different fridge. The ICE Machine cant keep up with our needs. I wish they took out the dinky shelving and made the unit bigger. The extra space in the freezer just became taken over with store bagged ice. I'm 5'6 and have kids. This fridge is hard to reach to grab items that are in the back. I'm just waiting for my kids to use the drawers for ladders. The shelf design doesn't give much option to create more of a tall space. leaving me to put many pop and salad dressing bottles on their side.
