We had the same request. It would not have been difficult to cut it, but the installer from BestBuy told us that he was not allowed to cut the hose down, and we were stuck with 8' of hose being folded up and twisted behind the dryer. We'll have to call someone to come fix it. (I'm too old now to be climbing over and behind appliances! LOL!)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it can be cut down; but remember that you should leave enough extra ducting to allow for moving dryer forward if you need to get in behind it.
