Used this amp as an upgrade to an older one I had so I could get a little more volume in my 2009 F150 regular cab. I was happy with what I had before, but this amp has no issue keeping up with my demand. I'm impressed with the low temperature it seems to operate compared to what I had before. This is wired from my factory stereo using the high-level inputs and driving a pair of 2Ω Infinity Kappa component speakers in the front, and a sealed 12" Rockford Fosgate P3SD212 at 4Ω bridged on the rear channels. Using this amp as a 3-channel setup in this case. This amp is outstanding, especially for the money. The only reason I gave it four stars is the bass boost is not adjustable. It's either of, or at +12dB which is pretty extreme. The only reason I use the bass boost is to compensate for the factory stereo's lack of adjustments other than bass and treble. If you're using a quality aftermarket head unit with a dedicated subwoofer output, this is a non-issue since bass boost should be set on the headunit, not the amp. I set the gains with a multi-meter with the stereo set to neutral, LPF and HPF disabled, and using 0dB 60hz and 100hz test tones. They front required very little gain to be set to achieve its rated output. Mine was tested at 89 watts at 2Ω according to the test card included with my unit, so I set the front channels to push at 80-85 to ensure peak performance and reliability. But once I listened for a bit, I wanted to compare with the bass boost enabled. With bass boost enabled and the gain all the way down on the rear channels, I'm pushing 190 watts bridged at 4Ω. But after momentarily setting the bass and treble on my stereo, it sounds stunning with absolutely no clipping or distortion. It is absolutely perfect for a truck as the output is incredible, the footprint is small, and power draw low. Absolutely no dimming lights with the factory 135A alternator and a healthy battery no matter how hard it's pumping rock, metal, dubstep, and pretty much anything other than country or tween music, which will never be heard by me! Last thing to note was this amp was limited by the factory speaker wires on the front initially. They sounded fine, but the factory wire couldn't keep up at high output. So after fishing some fresh 14 gauge speaker wires directly from the amp to the speakers, the performance is amazing. I liked it so much, I just bought another tonight and will use it to drive a pair of 8" subs that will be going in a 2011 Taurus. I have an aftermarket head unit in there, so controlling the subs will be even easier.

Bought this amplifier to help push some door speaker I also purchased and I was pleasantly suprised with the sound quality. This amp was easy to install and set up. Makes my Avalanche sound like a concert hall.

I'm driving eight speakers (four woofers, four tweeters) in my GTI and it sounds excellent across many genres of music: rock, hip-hop, classical, and even podcasts. Lots of power, very clear, good low end. Fairly easy install, though it is a tad large to fit in the rear audio area of my VW, so I had to angle it weirdly and strap it in.

Needed a solid amp for running my backseat of a 4-door truck. Have a set of Type S Components and a small sub bridged on this amp. Pushes both perfect. Only drawback is minor - if you ever want 2 ch bridge mode, you'll have to get rca splitters. Great for starter system or inexpensive upgrade over lesser quality brands.

This amp packs a big punch for the little price. I've always been an Alpine fan, as I've owned the Alpine amp powering my subs for 7 years. The sound clarity is amazing and it does a great job filtering out the lows and bringing out the highs. Hooking everything up was simple. It's also pretty small in size, so you can mount it just about anywhere. Definitely recommend!

My previous amp burned out and was one of the best amps made when Purchased it. When I installed this in its place I could not believe how much better the quality of what I was hearing compared to before.

I was skeptical at first based on it's size. I'm used too huge power amps that take up a lot of room and this amp is tiny. After hooking it up I was surprised at the sound quality and power it produces. Great Bass more than enough power to drive two 10's plus my front components. Great little amp. Makes me want to get another just to fill in the space where my old one was.
