    Great entry-level radio with a very smooth screen

    Very happy with this Alpine radio. The screen is smooth, responsive, and easy to use, which is what I like most about it. The shallow chassis also makes installation much easier and gives you more room behind the dash. For an entry-level model, it performs very well. My only complaint is that it does not have wireless Apple CarPlay, so you have to connect by cable. Other than that, I really like it and would definitely recommend it.

    Excellent Upgrade

    This receiver completely transformed my driving experience. The screen is bright and responsive, and both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work flawlessly. Bluetooth connects quickly every time, and the sound quality is excellent. Installation was straightforward, and the ultra-shallow design made it fit perfectly in my vehicle. Navigation, music, and hands-free calling are all much more convenient now. Great performance, reliable connectivity, and outstanding value. Highly recommended for anyone looking to modernize their vehicle’s audio system.

    Probably going to return this one.

    I bought this based off reviews from another website and kind of wish I hadn’t. I was drawn to it to pair it with the Alpine power pack 4ch amp that goes with it thinking it would produce better sound and snappier menus than my old KENWOOD. It’s definitely a downgrade from the old unit. The screen is capacitive but lower resolution. It blacks out every time I use my turn signal. My subwoofer cuts out randomly and often. Bass doesn’t start until moderately high volume. Other than the sub, sound quality is on par with the old KENWOOD. I don’t think the 770M would be any better since the only difference in specs is wireless CarPlay and an extra camera input. My bass issue may be an install issue but I doubt it. The sub and speakers are brand new Alpine (PWE-S8-WRA/SPV-65X-WRA) and worked perfect with the old head unit. I installed it myself but I have over 20 years of car electronics installation experience.

    Best upgrade I’ve done to my truck

    It has worked incredibly well, the install bay guys know what they’re doing and install it perfectly. Works great with my previously installed sound system, CarPlay works extremely well

    Silverado 16’

    Had to return this product. I usually love alpine but this one no. Screen would black out randomly. Size was smaller than advertised due to the buttons taking up space at the bottom.
