My initial impressions of this Mac were very positive and still remain so. Unboxing an iMac is a treat everyone should have the chance to do in their lifetime. The set up is extremely clean with the wireless mouse and keyboard and with a quick USB type C to HDMI adapter I have it plugged into my secondary monitor to have dual screens. The performance is what you would expect from an Apple product, though it is not as fast as my 2013 MacBook Pro. It does pretty much everything I need it to do. I work at home all day and have my email, Google Chrome, CloudApp, Slack, and WhatsApp open pretty much the whole time. I would recommend buying one of these iMacs. Maybe upgrade to the SSD hard drive for a bit of a more snappy response time. The 4K 21” screen really is beautiful and enjoyable to work on all day.

This is my 3rd iMac and after 2 months I'm very pleased. Apple makes a great computer and the updates are nice. Pros: 1. Easy to set up 2. Super-fast 3. 4k Retina display is very clear with sharp images 4. The 1 TB Hard Drive and 8 GB Memory is plenty for my home-based business 5. USB charged mouse much better than battery op 6. USB charged keypad much better than battery op 7. User-friendly apps and systems Cons: 1. The keyboard is very small and not ergonomic My past iMacs were very short-lived lasting only 2-4 years. One had a motherboard issue and the other just got extremely slow with the beach ball spinning forever. I don't know if my case is just an isolated incident as I have read other reviews where they last up to 10 years. That was not the case with me. I expect much more life expectancy from a product in this price range. I am hoping I got a better system this time that will last more than just a few years. Other than that I highly recommend and doubt I would ever use another brand.

Been wanting an iMac for a while. Finally got one and have been using it more than my laptop. I got the icore 3 version. Pretty smooth and fast went for the bit of the cheaper option, but the 4K retina display is a nice touch no complaints so far.

It’s the perfect size for my desk and when working. It was easy to setup and link to my other devices. It works really well for my purposes (teaching via Zoom, creating PowerPoints, writing papers...)

Love the all in one. Apple did it again with minimal design and amazing graphics. Not a fan of the Magic Mouse. It’s not ergonomic and hard to maneuver. Would have preferred the larger full keyboard but got used to it. Overall great deal. Love it!

I've now had enough time to do a biased review. I'm not an Apple or Mac guy, but I do love the iMac. It's sleek, comfortable, and fairly easy to use. If you can swing the extra cash buy an iMac.

Set up was super easy. I went back and forth with which screen size to purchase, but I am completely satisfied with the 21.5 inch. With the new online learning platform many educators have turned to, my laptop was not working for me (nor my eyes :)). The only thing I would say is, I had to order another wireless keyboard because I did not like the short keyboard. I would still consider this computer an all around win, especially since I nailed a certified open box for 970.00.

I have been wanting to buy a desktop computer for the longest time. When it came to the type of computer I wanted, I knew that I wanted an all-in-one computer so that I could minmize the overall footprint and the number of cords used. Since I already own an iPad and a MacBook Air, getting an iMac made the most sense. I chose this model and specifications because I knew I wasn't gong to be doing any heavy photo or video editing, nor was I going to be using it for heavy gaming purposes. I needed a basic configuration that would allow me do to everyday tasks. Purchasing this iMac has allowed me to do this. I enjoy how it easily communicates with my other Apple products and allows me to the daily tasks such as emails and presentations that I need. My only complaint is that it did not come with a full keyboard. However, at this point I have more or less adjusted to the smaller styler keyboard.

Baught it for $1,099 then got 1TB SSD and 32gb Memory from OWC and Listo ! 1k less than apple sells it for with all the upgrades. Got a flying machine LOL...

Over 20 years ago I used to be a professional photographer. The first desktop computer I bought was Apple's Macintosh and I really love her! Although I am not a professional photographer anymore, I take some favorite photos as an amateur. It's very easy to use as a all-in-one baby as iMac: easy to operate, intuitive, and great in color and precision! And suitable for small office use!

I ordered an open box iMac for my home office. I need a computer to do simple tasks and I’m an Apple junkie. Very easy set up and perfect for my space.

I love Mac and this is an amazing machine. I don’t do much on it except school work. But it has been working great so far. My mid 2009 MacBook Pro worked till 2019. So hopefully I get the same performance.

This is a great addition to our larger Apple computer as we use it strictly for financial business only. This keeps this device free from unwanted invasion as we serf the web only on our larger device... It has a great storage capacity and spectacular screen display. For the price it is an excellent value!

Yes the screen is sharp and Retina display is amazing but my iPhone 11 runs faster. This al in one is slow as slow can be. I don’t play games I just have an online business to run and I can’t have all my programs running at once without staring at the spinning beach ball. Also the screen has a terrible looking thick black border that takes your eyes away from the stunning display. The fusion drive is slow I will return this and probably get a laptop. Also the magic keyboard is tiny and mouse is uncomfortable. Sound is decent but overall not impressed. Been waiting for an hour to finish installing Microsoft office.

I was looking for a home computer but didn’t really want a bulky tower under my desk. This computer doesn’t have a tower, it’s built into the monitor. Works great for all my home needs, and my child’s schoolwork!!!

Purchased this for my 76 year old mother who has never owned a computer. It's changed her life...she can research gardening on her own and shop Amazon! Apple is so intuitive that she figures out how to get on the internet. Quality for excellent price- worth every dime.

I have owned a iMAC for about 12 years and just recently upgraded to a newer model.

I replaced my 11 year old iMAC with this new one. What a difference! Still user friendly with lots more to offer. The monitor is beautiful and it just makes everything a breeze. Excellent.
