I purchased to replace a MSI laptop. The setup was easy. The integration with iPhone was nice. Battery life lasted for days with the light browsing and basic spreadsheet type work I was using it for. Construction felt premium. After two weeks I was considering replacing my wife’s aging MacBook Air that has always had issues with charging. Unfortunately, my MacBook Air has also quit charging. Tried all the normal fixes except for checking for updates. Since Apple doesn’t allow updates when the battery is under 20% that option wasn’t available. Luckily, this all happened within my return window so I just returned the device. My old college MacBook Pro with the magnetic charger also had charging issues, and the fact that our old MacBook air has charging issues makes me not want to take a chance on this new MacBook Air if it’s already having a charging issue two weeks into ownership. Frustrating experience, but at least Best Buy handled it well.

Disappointed with this purchase. I bought open box very good and was surprised it didn't come with a charger and had visible marks and bruise. I was not as let down about the marks as I was surprised that it didn't even have a charger. Returned it on site before leaving.

I have only had this laptop for 10 months. And while it was great for a short time, the screen broke out of nowhere. I have taken very good care of this laptop. Never dropped or mishandled. I find Apple products are not what they used to be. Cheaper and not as durable or long lasting. My next laptop will not be an Apple product.

Bought it on August 2025 brand new not open box and it was broken by December, brought it to Apple to fix it and were told than warranty is expired. It was surprise to learn that when it was sold to me it was second time, and warranty was activated after someone bought it first time. It was stressful to deal with Best Buy and Apple, none of them wanted to take responsibility. Finally Apple gave approval for extended warranty and fixed it. Best Buy should put a clear notes fir consumer that the item comes with less warranty because it was already sold to someone, even the box was sealed.

Best Buy has been very difficult to work with. My MacBook order for Christmas was switched for a box of baseball cards. They promised a replacement but refused to fulfilled due to “system actions”. Ordered 12/14/25 and still not received/delivered by 12/26/25. Customer service was unhelpful, as there was no speed of service and I had to call Best Buy 7 times over 2 weeks as there was no resolution to my complaints. Amazon fulfilled my order within 8 hours! Low chance I will be using Best Buy again.

This product was out of stock when I tried to purchase in store. I asked if it can be shipped to my place, the staff said yes but he didn’t tell be Best Buy works with third-party delivery vendor and he didn’t tell me this item request signature. I found out when I received the email and Best Buy customer service can’t help anymore since the label has been created and tell me I had to contact them myself. This caused som much trouble and stress when I could literally chose to pick up in store if the staff inform me.

Ordered an Excellent rated machine and the asset came with the wrong power supply for the model and scuff marks. I reached out to customer service several times and the options were to drive 1.5 hours away or send the laptop back. The options with customer service are more limited than buying a new product so I'd caution someone from buying an open box item.

I have to order online as I live several hours from a store. I had numerous problems placing the order and had to do three chats and one phone call to resolve the problems. These included being overcharged and the shipping destination being wrong. These problems took at least 4 hours of my time to resolve, with no compensation. The laptop arrived turned on in its box, and with no protective packing inside the shipping box. I learned from this experience that I will order directly from Apple next time. They are more efficient and helpful than Best Buy, and do their best to resolve issues in a timely fashion.

I bought a computer with less memory, intending to store files in the cloud (which I bought separately). However, I now regret this decision because my files are taking up both computer and cloud memory. I was told that there’s no way to select which file to go to the cloud and which one to keep on the computer.

It was such a chore getting this item delivered to me. It took me 3 times to reorder to finally get it. It was a very frustrating process and wouldn't do it again

Problem with delivery. Delivery suppose to delivery on the date provided; however on the day of delivery got a notification stating the delivery will be delayed then next morning I found the package was delivered and was siting at my front door overnight.

Computer not finished parts were missing. IT WAS A MAC BOOK AIR.It was replaced when returned. And handled very professanaly.

wasn’t what I expected. I’ve had MacBooks in the past and this was not the same one that I used to have. It seems like they’ve got downgraded.

Its just not all that. The passive cooling with no fan isnt great for longevity. Not as many ports as the pro. So many reasons the air isnt really saving you money when you choose it over the pro. I had this laptop for about 6 days. No thank you. Not a fan in any way whatsoever other than it was seemingly fast startup.

Quality sub-par. Screen has had missing pixels since day one.

Failed Wifi HW less than 6 months. Need to send it in for service

Broken Water damage per Apple diagnostic Not covered by warranty

Do not like sound quality / thinking abouf exchanging for 15 inch macbook air or 14 inch macbook pro

Nothing but trouble. Have been taking it back to store at least 7 or 8 times and still no working properly.
