Connected to Mesh System
Router combo is working well. However, it took several days to get it started. I had to have an cable company tech connect a cable to my mesh system. The combo router had separate connections for the internet (cable) and the wifi systems. I did not know this and after calling the surfboard techs several times, I was finally connected properly. I do not like the fact that the modem router is not completely wireless since I needed a cable for the mesh system. Other than that it is great. My speed is faster than my old combo router.

Set-up new modem went well with Xfinity app. Set-up was easy with Arris App. Super fast and works well with a variety of devices. Best combo modem/router I've every owned.

Excellent choice in a combination router/modem!
Great combination modem and router. Saves space from the old setup. Needed this to take advantage of the current internet speed. Easy setup and works great!

Buy a warranty with it! Worked great for 14 mon.
Item worked great for one year and 2 months. Suddenly at 14 months old it no longer recognized itself as a router. Thankfully I had a cell booster that still allowed me to have internet. I called my internet provider and verified this. Then I called ARRIS customer support. They ran tests and verified it was dead. They asked me if I had purchased a warranty with it, which I had with the recommendation from a Best Buy technician when I purchased it. I'm so thankful I listened and paid the additional $49.99 four year warranty. I returned it yesterday and got another set up, and another warranty. Over all, yes this works great. No issues whatsoever setting up and using it for 14 months. But I have to admit, I cannot recommend a product that lasts hardly a year later, regardless if electronics age out. It was kept dust free, out in the open and never allowed to over heat, not near a window, etc. So get it, but buy a warranty with it. Thank you Best Buy for standing by the products you sell and for having outstanding staff working there.
