After studying many different brands this came out the winner for being very versatile, and the right price. Does its job extremely well, but the setup instructions/ CD did not really tell me exactly what to do and the tech support in huge numbers in the packaging is not a working number. The blue light flashes constantly which is distracting so you have to hide it from view. I'm running Windows 7, 64 bit, for reference to readers.

Was impressed by how simple installation was. User-friendly plug-and-play.Had some initial problems with first reboot after install, but a few system preference changes helped to remedy. Note: to use, Network preferences needs to be opened first before physical installation. Great product overall, especially for the price.

I have an older pc that only had an Ethernet internet connection. The adapter stopped working and was going to be expensive to fix. I purchased this USB WIFI adapter and it quickly and easily fixed the problem. It even arrived 2 days early.

I needed to replace an older wireless adapter, but didn't want to spend a lot of money for a back up computer. I ordered this and it arrived a few days later. I opened the package and looked at the directions, it was really easy to install everything and in a few min I was surfing the net again. it seems fast and was very user friendly.

This performs better than the Netgear adapter it replaced. My home office is in the basement, router is on the second floor. Performance is greatl.

Only negative is the software should be included in a digital form on a jump drive and not a CD. You don't have the internet without it so you can't get the software.

i have this set up about 30 feet away with three walls and an enterteiment system between the adapter and router and this signal is pretty strong.

The adapter worked just as the description said it would with Linux. I plugged it in the USB port and it was recognized immediately.

Good wireless network adapter for an older computer.

Purchased this adapter for a older desktop that did not have wireless capability. I chose this adapter because other reviews mentioned it was compatible with Linux. The adapter worked out of the box on my Linux Mint installation, and maintains a good constant connection.

Purchased this for a home built computer that didn't have a wireless card, so needed this for access to the internet (and our home network). Initially, there were some issues with this connecting, with it sometimes connecting, sometimes not; it turned out that the device was not always checked as being active. Corrected this, and it has been working great since. To be honest, I couldn't say whether this is an issue with the device, or something else in the home built computer. I can say that, since this issue was resolved, this has been working great and has provided surprisingly high speeds. I do recommend this product, and am a fan of ASUS products in general.

This USB Wi-Fi adapter comes with a semi-rigid 3 inch extension cable which permits you to orient it in an manner several inches from the computer USB port which may give you a signal with less interference or shielding. Driver software is excellent with easy to understand graphic presentation of available servers and performance. I recommend this-great value for the money.

I installed two for server works great linux picked them right up no need for the install disc, at 300 meg second can’t ask for anything better good price at 25 each very good value.

I actually bought this because of the high ratings that I found on several sites. They were right. It is most probably the best USB N adapter on the market! Buy it... you won't regret it. Windows 7, WinXP.

It found my internet connection right away. But I do feel that it has slowed down my browsing speed some.

Very easy install on Windows 7. I get fast internet without a direct modem or cable. My phone hotspot works just fine. Big savings.
