A: I can not say yes , the drivers I found were in the default in other words they were already in just a matter of the operating system installing them . I use open source, mint. So I would think the correct answer is no they are not Realtek.

A: Mike, This is an network Ethernet adapter, not a Bluetooth adapter. So it won't add bluetooth to your laptop. All newer laptops (and most older laptops) have WiFi built into them, so this would be redundant (other than it would upgrade you to wireless-N if you don't already have it. But it won't add bluetooth. Does your printer have WiFi (wireless) built into it? If so, then you'll be able to connect to your printer with either this wireless adapter (or the built-in adapter that most like is already installed on your laptop).
