Mike, This is an network Ethernet adapter, not a Bluetooth adapter. So it won't add bluetooth to your laptop. All newer laptops (and most older laptops) have WiFi built into them, so this would be redundant (other than it would upgrade you to wireless-N if you don't already have it. But it won't add bluetooth. Does your printer have WiFi (wireless) built into it? If so, then you'll be able to connect to your printer with either this wireless adapter (or the built-in adapter that most like is already installed on your laptop). If your printer is a "bluetooth" printer, then you'd need to purchase a USB Bluetooth adapter (such as this Rocketfish Micro USB adapter http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Rocketfish%26%23153%3B+-+Micro+Bluetooth+USB+Adapter/8820886.p?id=1207351932175&skuId=8820886) With bluetooth, you will most likely need to be in the same room as the printer for reliable printing. Hope this helps, TechRealm
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bluetooth and wireless are different. This adapter is wireless so you can connect it to a computer that doesn't have a wireless adapter and now the computer will have wireless access. If your printer is set up to be printed from wirelessly then you will be able to print wirelessly from your computer with this wireless adapter connected.
