I have a 2020 MacBook Pro laptop and I need to connect two independent monitors. Is this adaptor compatible?
Answered by BelkinStaffHi, Kady1255. Our Belkin AVC002 is compatible with mobile devices and laptops that have a video-enabled USB-C port. It has also been tested to work with Thunderbolt™ 3 port-compatible devices and the following devices: MacBook Pro 13" M1 (2020), MacBook Air 13" M1 (2020) and Mac mini M1 (2020). Also, the unit itself allows you to connect an HDMI port for video display and a USB-C port for power.
Are you able to use both the USB-C and the HDMI port simultaneously?
Answered by BelkinStaffHi! If you meant both for display, then no. The USB-C port is dedicated for charging.
Does this product require a driver to be downloaded prior to use?
Answered by BelkinStaffHi. The Belkin AVC002 USB-C to HDMI + Charge Adapter is plug-and-play and will work with any devices that have a video-enabled USB-C port.
