These 2nd gen ear buds from Bose are a nice upgrade as far as the size reduction, look, and comfort, but that’s it, the noise cancellation IS better on the first gen, the CALL QUALITY is absolutely better on the first gen, everyone I speak to on a daily basis has mentioned to me, my voice sounds muffled and distant, and these are people I have been talking to daily on the older first gen buds from Bose, so I’m honestly confused/disappointed with what Bose is doing, ALSO, there is no more battery status indicator lights, so you never know how much charge the case has, where the first gen had 5 leds representing 20% each, but not on this new one, ALSO, no wireless charging, ALSO has connectivity issues, disconnects randomly, what is $300 about these buds? Nothing if you ask me, I returned earlier today and bought the air pods pro 2, these air pods music playback is not as nice as these Bose buds, but the call quality IS superior. My main use

Noise Canceling is great but there no bass you cant listen to your music with one headphone in your ear thats why i bought it employee told me yes you can listen to your music with one earphone in your ear that was false. Also you cant control how you want your music if you want more bass or more Treble or less you cant fix the music how you like it and i was told by the employee that you can. I expected the product to be better because of the name brand being one of the largest in the world it didn't live up to its name also it could have been louder for 400 bucks i expected the product to live up to its name and it didn't. Overall this product isn't for me the one thing i did like about it was battery life and they dont fall out of your ear. So now im in the hunt for new headphones

Hello Jeff,
It's great you're enjoying the noise-cancelling of the earbuds. You can adjust the bass through the EQ setting in the Bose Music app. I would recommend setting them up in the app https://bose.life/3ORsz1g to customize the audio https://bose.life/45i3Fic to your preference.
When you set up the earbuds in the app, this will also update the earbuds to the latest firmware version of 1.3.26. As this enables independent single bud use.
If you need help with the above, then please contact us https://bose.life/3rykPZR for further help.

These headphones are great as far as the noise cancellation girls I feel like superior to others like Sony and Apple unless you get memory foam tips for your Sonys or Apples. They hurt my ears had to buy the additional tips, the rubber has some reaction that irritated my inside canal. Sound quality is great but the Connectivity absolutely SUCKS. It won’t pair to my iPhone or my laptop or it will then one cuts out none stop, doesn’t reconnect automatically once you’ve left your phone, sad for Bose to put out a product like this when none of their other headphones had similar issues. Returned them for AirPod Pros with the H2 chip. Especially if you can’t stand loud screaming or what not in transparency mode it blocks out anything so quickly and can’t block out for high frequencies sounds then Sony WF1000XM4 Buds or Bose Quite Comfort II earbuds.

The earbuds are amazing. Great noice cancelation and great sound. I live in the NYC area and removing the train noice is such a great task and these earbuds get the job done but in my opinion Bose took a step back on the wrong direction with the case. The Bose QC earbuds 1 had a bulkier case but the button mechanism to open the case allow it to stay secure if it was in your pockets or in your bag. The new Bose case opens freely and feels flimsy. I actually had the earbuds for 2 days and the top part of the case broke off perfectly where they meet. I am not sure why if they were just in my pocket. I love Bose but this case is not it for these great earbuds. I also do not think the case has wireless charging which I think the first QC did.

I’ve been using the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II True Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones in Triple Black for about a year and a half now. For the majority of that time, they’ve been nothing short of fantastic. The sound quality was excellent, the noise cancelling feature was impressive, and the comfort was top-notch. They truly lived up to the Bose reputation. However, over the past three weeks, I’ve noticed a significant change. The right earbud has become noticeably quieter, and the noise cancelling feature seems to have faded. This was quite surprising and disappointing, especially considering that I’ve been caring for them as usual, with no changes in my handling or usage. I looked up the serial number with the Bose self help from Bose’s online support, only to find out that my warranty period has expired and i would have to purchase a new set. Despite this, I can’t help but feel that this is a product defect. It’s disheartening to see such a drastic change in performance in a relatively short period of time, especially from a brand like Bose, which is known for its quality and durability. Pros: *Amazing Audio Quality: The sound quality of these earbuds is excellent, providing a rich and immersive listening experience. *Comfort: These earbuds are comfortable to wear for extended periods. These reasons alone keep me from picking a pair of airpods but its becoming more tempting. CONS: *Mic Pickup in Busy Environments: The microphone doesn’t pick up voice well in noisy environments, which can be a problem during calls. *Right Earbud Volume and Noise Cancelling Issue: The right earbud has become significantly quieter, and the noise cancelling feature has faded over the past few weeks. *Lack of Charge Indicator for the Case: There’s no clear way to know the charge level of the case. *Long-Term Reliability: The recent issues raise questions about the product’s durability and long-term performance *Pairing and Connectivity Issues: Pairing the earbuds with a device can be very frustrating, and they often need to be repaired In conclusion, while my initial experience with the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II was positive, the recent issues have led me to question their long-term reliability. I hope Bose addresses these concerns in their future products.

I recently purchased the Bose QuietComfort® Earbuds II, and I must say, the sound quality is exceptional. These earbuds deliver a truly immersive audio experience that exceeds my expectations. From the crisp highs to the punchy bass, every note is clear and vibrant, making my favorite songs come alive. The design of the QuietComfort® Earbuds II is sleek and modern, providing a comfortable fit that stays in place, even during vigorous activities. The active noise cancellation feature is a game-changer, effectively blocking out unwanted external sounds and allowing me to focus on my music or calls without any distractions. Another impressive aspect of these earbuds is the battery life. With a single charge, I can enjoy hours upon hours of uninterrupted listening pleasure. The charging case is compact and convenient, easily slipping into my pocket for on-the-go use. The quick charging capability is a lifesaver when I'm in a hurry and need a quick boost of power. However, I do have one minor gripe with the Bose QuietComfort® Earbuds II. Unfortunately, these headphones cannot be tracked using any app or find my devices feature. It would have been helpful to have a way to locate them in case they get misplaced or lost. While this limitation can be inconvenient, I believe the exceptional audio quality and overall performance of these earbuds outweigh this drawback. In conclusion, if you're looking for earbuds that deliver exceptional sound quality and an immersive listening experience, the Bose QuietComfort® Earbuds II are a top-notch choice. Their sleek design, comfortable fit, and impressive battery life make them an excellent companion for music lovers on the go. Just keep in mind the limitation of not being able to track them using any app or find my devices feature. Despite this minor setback, these earbuds have become an indispensable part of my daily routine.

When they work they are amazing, but boy its hard to love. Pros: Amazing Sound Great ANC Decent Range Can Be Used Individually Price Is On Point With AirPods Cons: No Way To Have Two Devices Connected At Once Constant Connection Issues Switch Between Devices Is Bad They Seem To Pop Quite a Bit I want to love these, but its hard. Have had CONSTANT Connection Issues. I need to completely forget them from my device, then reset them, and then repair them. In the 4 months I have had them, I have done this 6 times. When going from one call to another quickly, I am noticing the devices even though connected to my phone, they don't transmit audio. When using one earbud notice a lot of popping as if ANC is kicking in and out. As far as the app, it's not great, just tells you basic info. For the good stuff: Battery life is pretty good. When they work, can go thru my entire work day without worrying. The range is pretty good too. Audio / Sound quality is amazing, have not had one person tell me I sound muffled, far, or with a lot of background noise. Tried the same place with my airpod pros and the opposite was said. When using on an airplane, no issues with background noise either, ANC is pretty darn good. Would I recommend, idk, I think if you only have one device I think these are great.

The buds fit in you ear and seals it comfortably so the high and low pass sounds great. In normal use, short use, the buds won't fall off, but if your exercising, it does fall out. The contrals are lacking and has less features than cheaper chinese brand I bought 3 years ago. It doesn't support wireless charging so I can't just drop it on my charging pad. The touch pause can't be disabled so everytime I adjust the buds, it will pause what I'm playing. There isn't an indicator that shows me how much battery I have left on the case at a glance, and the app won't show anything until it's paired. Pairing is sometimes a miss, and if the buds time out, there's no way to wake it up unless you put it back in the case. It's sad that a brand that I bought for a hundred less has better features than this.

I'm glad you like the fit and comfort of your QuietComfort Earbuds II!
A wireless charging case is available separately. The quickest way to check the battery level is to insert the buds into your ear - you'll hear a prompt. You can also use the Bose app to check. The app features an Equalizer for adjusting basses, mids and trebles as well, plus "Modes" that you can set up in order to quickly switch between your favorite noise-cancelling settings.
If your earbuds aren't always pairing, try rebooting your smartphone, as this can stabilise things. With some practice, you'll find you can adjust your earbuds without accidentally touching the touch controls. If when exercising you find the earbuds are falling out, make sure you've tried the different eartip and stability band combinations that we provide, as well as the Earbud Seal Test in the Bose app, to make sure you're getting the best fit.
I hope this information helps! Our support team will also be on hand to provide any further assistance if needed: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US.

I have been using this product for almost a year now and here are my two cents on the same. Sound quality is top notch with enhanced noise cancellation which makes the music experience great. Battery life is also really good. However, the bluetooth connectivity is a huge problem. Many a times you would put the earbuds on and it wont connect and now the left earbud has stopped working altogether. So despite the fantastic sound quality and battery life, I am not able to recommend this earbud to anyone.

In term of comfort, you can where them for an hour or two before ear fatigue kicks in. It takes some time for the ear buds to figure out the best sound quality for your ears which you can also tweak in the app. Once the software figures things out, the sound quality is good but they could be louder. The ANC is slightly better than the AirPods Pro Second Generation but not by much. I have an iPhone and there were some connection issues in the beginning but they eventually worked well with my phone. They can be a little awkward to take out of the case. The price is a bit high at $300 when you can get the AirPods Pro Second Generation for $50 less and they are on sale a few times a year or more for $199.

I want to point out that issue I had with the product was not one that everyone will have. So I work in a warehouse job and got these headphones specifically for the noise cancellation. First being that I bought them in August of last year they did last longer than my air pods. That’s a plus. Now onto the negatives. I wish that companies would make more size options available for the little plastic bits that actually got in the ear. Even on the smallest size they kept falling out because they were too big. Second and this is after talking to costumer support i was told that the issue I was having was caused by a combination of the extreme loud noise and the heat that distorted the speaker in the bud. Essentially my work environment fried the ear bud. The actual “symptoms” cause I don’t have a better word for it. Last Friday I was listening to my music no problem when suddenly I start hearing this staticy interference sound almost like if a walkie talkie picks up a random radio signal. Then it quit I thought nothing of it. About five minutes later and a low hum starts it gradually built into this shrill squeal shriek thing. I had to actually yank it out of my ear. This lasted probably two minutes. Then I tried my usual troubleshooting tricks unpairing and repairing nothing worked. However the shrill sound stopped but all of my audio is distorted now and sounds like I am trapped in a wind tunnel.

Thanks for your review of the QuietComfort Earbuds II, Jordan! I'm very sorry to hear that you weren't able to find a comfortable fit for your ear; Bose does sell alternate sizes of eartip and stability band (e.g. in XS), so maybe this will work for you. It is true that the earbuds are not specifically recommended for work environments entailing extreme heat or volume, as this could affect the earbuds themselves and the in-built mics. Having said this, please contact our support team, so we can document your case and find a resolution for you: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US. So the sound on these is phenomenal but there connection, at least with my iPhone is kind of gimmicky. I’ve also noticed that there’s this sort of hissing noise only coming out of the right earbud. The case feels cheap compared to it’s counterpart, the Airpods Pro, but I switched from the Airpods Pro because they would constantly fall out of my ears, these don’t do that which I love. Maybe these issues I’m having (minus the case) can be fixed with an update?

Hi, thank you for your review. I am glad to hear you love the great sound of the earbuds and that they do not fall out of your ears. I am surprised you are unable to stay connected and experience a hissing sound. Sometimes when using the incorrect ear tip sizes that do not provide an adequate seal, you can experience a noise leak. I am certain you can stop any noise leaking by trying different ear bands and tips to get the best fit. https://bose.life/3IqsL5Q
Making sure the earbuds are updated via btu.bose.com can also help stop the connection from being lost.

Bose always has amazing sound and the ANC was incredible!!!! However, the connection with Apple’s IOS was not very good. It would not connect automatically when I put the earbuds in my ear. I had to navigate to the App and connect them. I am also disappointed that I can not use the left earbud independently. Bose still has the Master/Slave programming that does not allow that. I opted for the new Air Pod Pros that are much more comparable than I expected. The sound and ANC on the AirPod Pro 2 Gen are really great as well!! It was the best choice for me as an IPhone user.

Hi.
Thank you for your post. Sorry to hear that you have had trouble connecting the earbuds with your iPhone. Usually, this happens if the Bluetooth device is connected to another product.
The Bluetooth device might not connect to the QC Earbuds II if it is already connected to another product. Go to the Bluetooth settings on the device, disconnect any connected products, then try connecting the QC Earbuds II. You asked and we listened! I'm happy to say that you can use either earbud for music or calls while the other is in the case. Download the latest firmware update through the Bose Music app. If you need help with this, follow the video here https://bose.life/3HzRFxL, or just reach out to us here, https://bose.life/3BzXXfd. The Good: There are wonderful earbuds. The sound is great. It is full. They fit well and don't fall out due to the many options. The noise cancelling is the best I have experienced. I love that I can control everything needed of the earbuds, even the volume. I wish it would adjust my phone volume. The OK: The case is a bit large. The lid feels a little weak. The app doesn't connect after wearing the buds for a longer time. I can't save my equalizer setting. I had a hard time connecting them to my Fire stick 4K MAX. The way the additional ear tips and bands are stores is very ecological and cheap but it is also finicky to put them back. I don't mind the missing of wireless charging. The bad: There is some static noise in a very quiet room that doesn't go away by changing settings. The wind noise is OK in QUIET mode but I don't hear much traffic. The more I change the setting to AWARE, the more wind noise I get. This is a safety issue, either no music of no traffic! The noise cancelling has outbursts when I'm drive in my car with an open window. It is getting worse with more AWARE mode so I'm driving in QUIET mode what is another safety issue. I wish I can turn the buds to OFF to have no static, no wind, no outbursts or longer battery life. But a lot of earbuds have a different sound profile in the OFF setting. A wind reduction setting might also work. I'm not sure if I'm going to return these. These are too many little bad thing for $300.
