The NVY-CTN1 is a 2" high compression hybrid driver / tweeter from the DS18 NVY series, the brand's high-performance line. It handles 50 watts AES continuous, 100 watts program and 200 watts peak at 4 ohms. The motor uses a 1.0" PEN voice coil on a KSV former wound with Aluminum wire, driven by a neodymium magnet. Sensitivity is rated at 105dB across a 1.2kHz-20kHz response. An inline 3.3uf/50v bass blocker is included, with a recommended high-pass crossover at 2kHz. Mounting requires a 1.4" cutout and 1.75" of depth. Sold individually.

An inline 3.3uf/50v filter is included, so the tweeter only receives the frequencies it should reproduce, with a recommended high-pass crossover at 2kHz. No separate crossover required.
