A neodymium motor drives 120 watts RMS and 240 watts peak, built around 1.4" voice coil on an aluminum former and 2.19 Oz of magnet. Neodymium keeps the motor compact and the magnetic field strong, which means tighter cone control at full output.
The driver covers 30Hz to 20kHz as a single moving assembly, so the midrange stays continuous instead of handing off between drivers. Vocals and instruments hold their body and their edge at the top of the volume range.
At 90dB, the motor and cone convert amplifier power into acoustic output with little waste. Less energy turns into heat, the voice coil runs cooler through long sessions, and dynamics stay intact when the system is pushed.
