The EXL-TR12.4D is a 12" car subwoofer from the DS18 EXL-TR series. It handles 1500 watts RMS and uses dual voice coils at 4 ohms per coil, so you can wire multiple subwoofers to the final impedance your amplifier is stable at. Peak power handling is 3000 watts. The motor uses a dual stacked magnet assembly. The cone is reinforced. Mounting requires an 11.1" cutout diameter and 7.6" of mounting depth, so confirm your enclosure before installing. Pair it with a matching monoblock amplifier and a properly tuned enclosure to get the most low-frequency output.

Rated at 1500 watts RMS and 3000 watts peak. Behind that rating: 3" voice coil on a black aluminum former wound with SV wire, a 2 x 85 oz ferrite motor and 17.5mm of one-way excursion. The motor is vented for improved heat dissipation, so it holds output during long, high-power sessions.
Dual voice coils let you wire multiple subwoofers in series or parallel to reach the final impedance your amplifier is stable at, which gives you room to grow the system later.
A dual stacked magnet assembly increases motor force, which improves cone control at high power and helps the subwoofer stay accurate instead of getting loose and boomy when driven hard.
This 12" subwoofer requires an 11.1" cutout diameter and 7.6" of mounting depth. DS18 recommends a sealed enclosure of 0.6 cu ft and a ported enclosure of 1.5 cu ft tuned to 30Hz. Check these numbers against your enclosure before ordering: enclosure volume and tuning change the low-frequency response as much as the driver does.
The reinforced cone stays rigid at high excursion while resisting fatigue over time, so the driver keeps its shape and output under sustained high power.
