The FRP-1.2K4/RD is a 4-channel car amplifier from the DS18 FRP series, built as a Class D design. It delivers 4 x 120 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 4 x 200 watts RMS at 2 ohms, 4 x 300 watts RMS at 1 ohms, 2 x 350 watts RMS at 2 ohms and 2 x 500 watts RMS at 1 ohms. Total harmonic distortion is rated at 0.5% with a signal-to-noise ratio of 90dB. A selectable Yes, HPF/FULL/LPF crossover covers 10Hz-2KHz, so you can send each channel only the frequencies it should reproduce. Bass boost is adjustable from 0-12dB centered between 50Hz. A remote level control is included so you can adjust output from the driver seat. Match the amplifier to the RMS rating of your speakers or subwoofers and set the gain to that rating for clean, reliable output.

Built with thermal, over-load, dc output and short circuit output protection, so the amplifier shuts itself down before a wiring fault, a short or overheating can damage it or your speakers. That is what keeps 4-channel amplifiers alive in daily-driven vehicles.
Total harmonic distortion of 0.5% and a signal-to-noise ratio of 90dB mean the amplifier reproduces the signal it is given instead of adding hiss and distortion of its own, which matters most at high volume.
