The FRP-2.5K5/TI is a 5-channel car amplifier from the DS18 FRP series, built as a Class D design. It delivers 2 x 550 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 1200 watts RMS at 1 ohms, 800 watts RMS at 2 ohms and 500 watts RMS at 4 ohms. The channels are bridgeable, so you can combine them to drive a subwoofer or a pair of higher-power speakers from the same amplifier. Total harmonic distortion is rated at 0.5% with a signal-to-noise ratio of 90dB. A selectable HPF (CH1~CH4) / LPF (SUB) crossover covers HP:10Hz-2kHz (CH1~CH4) / LP:10Hz-250Hz (SUB), so you can send each channel only the frequencies it should reproduce. Bass boost is adjustable from 0-18dB (SUB CH ONLY) centered between 50Hz. A remote level control is included so you can adjust output from the driver seat. Match the amplifier to the RMS rating of your speakers or subwoofers and set the gain to that rating for clean, reliable output.

Delivers 2 x 550 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 1200 watts RMS at 1 ohms, 800 watts RMS at 2 ohms and 500 watts RMS at 4 ohms. Power scales as impedance drops, so check the rating at the impedance you plan to run before matching speakers.
A Class D topology runs cooler and draws less current than a conventional amplifier at the same output, with rated efficiency of 92%. That means less strain on your electrical system and a smaller chassis for the same power.
Bridge the channels to combine their output and drive a subwoofer or a pair of higher-power speakers from the same amplifier, which lets one amp cover both your speakers and your bass instead of buying two.
Onboard tuning includes a selectable HPF (CH1~CH4) / LPF (SUB) crossover covering HP:10Hz-2kHz (CH1~CH4) / LP:10Hz-250Hz (SUB) and bass boost adjustable from 0-18dB (SUB CH ONLY) centered between 50Hz. Send each channel only the frequencies it should play and dial in the low end without adding an external processor.
Built with thermal, over-load, dc output and short circuit output protection, so the amplifier shuts itself down before a wiring fault, a short or overheating can damage it or your speakers. That is what keeps 5-channel amplifiers alive in daily-driven vehicles.
