The G3600.6D is a 6-channel car amplifier from the DS18 G series, built as a Class D design. It delivers 3 x 500 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 6 x 250 watts RMS at 2 ohms and 6 x 200 watts RMS at 4 ohms. The channels are bridgeable, so you can combine them to drive a subwoofer or a pair of higher-power speakers from the same amplifier. Total harmonic distortion is rated at 0.01% with a signal-to-noise ratio of greater than 90dB. A selectable Variable HPF / HPF-BPF-FULL (5/6CH) crossover covers HPF:10-250Hz / LPF:50-250Hz, so you can send each channel only the frequencies it should reproduce. Bass boost is adjustable from 0-12dB centered between Fixed @ 45Hz. Match the amplifier to the RMS rating of your speakers or subwoofers and set the gain to that rating for clean, reliable output.
Delivers 3 x 500 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 6 x 250 watts RMS at 2 ohms and 6 x 200 watts RMS at 4 ohms. Power scales as impedance drops, so check the rating at the impedance you plan to run before matching speakers.
A Class D topology runs cooler and draws less current than a conventional amplifier at the same output, with rated efficiency of 75%. That means less strain on your electrical system and a smaller chassis for the same power.
Bridge the channels to combine their output and drive a subwoofer or a pair of higher-power speakers from the same amplifier, which lets one amp cover both your speakers and your bass instead of buying two.
Onboard tuning includes a selectable Variable HPF / HPF-BPF-FULL (5/6CH) crossover covering HPF:10-250Hz / LPF:50-250Hz and bass boost adjustable from 0-12dB centered between Fixed @ 45Hz. Send each channel only the frequencies it should play and dial in the low end without adding an external processor.
Built with thermal, over-load, dc output and short circuit output protection, so the amplifier shuts itself down before a wiring fault, a short or overheating can damage it or your speakers. That is what keeps 6-channel amplifiers alive in daily-driven vehicles.
