The GEN-X112LD is a loaded subwoofer enclosure with a ported box. It comes with a 12" subwoofer already installed and wired, so you only add an amplifier. Total power handling is 450 watts RMS and 900 watts peak. The box has an internal volume of 45.3L / 1.6ft3 and a port tuned to 35Hz. Construction is 1/2" / 15mm MDF finished in black carpet. Everything is assembled and ready to drop in, which saves the cost and time of building a custom enclosure.
A GEN-X124D 12" subwoofer already mounted in a box built to its specification. Skip the shop appointment, the box drawings and the risk of a mismatched enclosure: this combination is engineered to work as a unit.
1.6 ft³ of internal volume with the port tuned to 35Hz, dropping off at 29Hz. Porting adds output right where bass lines live, so this hits considerably harder than a sealed box of the same size on the same power.
450W RMS / 900W max with the dual voice coils wired in parallel to a 2-ohm final impedance: an easy, stable match for the vast majority of monoblock amplifiers on the market.
Half-inch treated MDF stands up to hard vibration and gives accurate acoustic resonance, so the box stays quiet and the energy becomes output. Black carpet keeps it looking finished in a trunk or cargo area.
