The NXL-X1500.1FR is a 1-channel car amplifier from the DS18 NXL-X series, built as a Class D design. It delivers 1500 watts RMS at 1 ohms. Total harmonic distortion is rated at less than 0.05% with a signal-to-noise ratio of greater than 81dB. A selectable Band-Pass crossover covers LPF: 50Hz-20KHz / HPF: 10Hz-500Hz, so you can send each channel only the frequencies it should reproduce. Bass boost is adjustable from 0-18dB centered between 42Hz. A IP67 waterproof rating makes it suitable for boats, side-by-sides and powersports vehicles where the amplifier is exposed to water and spray. Match the amplifier to the RMS rating of your speakers or subwoofers and set the gain to that rating for clean, reliable output.
Delivers 1500 watts RMS at 1 ohms. Wire down to the lowest impedance your subwoofer allows to get the full rating, and set the gain to your speaker RMS to keep the signal clean.
A Class D topology runs cooler and draws less current than a conventional amplifier at the same output, with rated efficiency of 92%. That means less strain on your electrical system and a smaller chassis for the same power.
