The PSW12.4S is a 12" car subwoofer from the DS18 PSW series. It handles 600 watts RMS and uses a single voice coil at 4 ohms per coil, which keeps wiring simple with most monoblock amplifiers. Peak power handling is 1200 watts. The water-resistant cone holds up to moisture and spray in open-air installs. The shallow-mount basket fits tight spaces and under-seat enclosures where a standard-depth subwoofer will not clear. Mounting requires a 10.6" cutout diameter and 3.3" of mounting depth, so confirm your enclosure before installing. Pair it with a matching monoblock amplifier and a properly tuned enclosure to get the most low-frequency output.
Rated at 600 watts RMS and 1200 watts peak. Behind that rating: 3" voice coil on an aluminum former wound with Copper wire and a 68 oz ferrite motor. That is what lets a 12" cone move this much air without losing control.
