The SLC8S is an 8" car subwoofer from the DS18 SELECT series. It handles 200 watts RMS and uses a single voice coil at 4 ohms per coil, which keeps wiring simple with most monoblock amplifiers. Peak power handling is 400 watts. Mounting requires a 7.2" cutout diameter and 3.85" of mounting depth, so confirm your enclosure before installing. Rated at 200 watts RMS and 400 watts peak. Behind that rating: 2" voice coil on an aluminum former wound with CCAW wire and a 38 oz ferrite motor. That is what lets an 8" cone move this much air without losing control.
