The SB12A is a loaded subwoofer enclosure with a sealed box. It comes with a 12" subwoofer already installed and wired, so you only add an amplifier — or nothing at all, since the amplifier is built in. Total power handling is 350 watts RMS and 700 watts peak. The built-in digital amplifier is matched to the subwoofer, so there is no guesswork in gain setting or impedance matching. The box has an internal volume of 16L / 0.56ft3 and a port tuned to N/A. Construction is 0.59" MDF finished in non-woven fabric. Everything is assembled and ready to drop in, which saves the cost and time of building a custom enclosure.
A full 12" driver in a slim sealed enclosure built for vehicles that have no room for a conventional box. Bigger cone, more air moved, deeper output than a 10", in a footprint that still tucks behind or under a seat.
The 350W RMS / 700W max Class D amp is mounted to the box and tuned to the 12" shallow sub inside. Nothing to match, nothing to rack-mount, nothing to tune from scratch. It arrives as a finished bass system.
High-level and RCA low-level inputs are both included, so it works with a stock head unit with no preamp outputs or with an aftermarket deck. Pick whichever hookup your vehicle makes easy.
Sealed construction in thick MDF keeps the response tight and the box quiet under load. The energy goes into output instead of panel flex and rattle.
