Takes a little bit to get used to but you'll find your rhythm. I personally use a 'Crave Naturals Glide Thru' hair brush in tandem with this. Works great and makes it look like I flattened my hair.

THIS REALLY WORKS!!!!! I was skeptical but it really smooths your hair out, now I still use a flat iron after but the attachment helps a ton and does most of the work! A must buy!

This is the first attachment that I did not like. This left my wavy hair very dry and stringy feeling.

Great quality comb attachment for dyson hair dryer. Makes hair drying quick, easy and almost effortless! Attachment does not detach or tangle in my curls when using, and helps to focus air for a nice blowout! Dyson has yet to disappoint me and serves to be more of a quality product/brand worth the money in USA (which is hard to find these days!!)

I received this comb free when I purchased the dyson blow dryer. I use it all the time and love it. My hair is kind of thick but fine texture and it works great for volume. I use it to prevent frizz until my hair is almost dry then I use a round brush. This wide tooth comb can be used on all type and texture of hair and it is worth the purchase if you have to buy it. As I said it really helps to put volume in my hair that is almost shoulder length.

One of the best tools I could have bought for to blow my 4c hair dry and straight. This helped cut my straightening time significantly.

Best attachment in my opinion. The attachment doesn't fall off like others when blow drying fast.

Works well and is durable. Attaches to the Supersonic (will not work with the Airwrap version as it is not attachable on that version) I have fine curly textured type 3C curly hair. This comb stretches the curl without breakage and gets it straight...like a typical blowout. It does not make my hair silky straight like a flat iron. What is nice is that it does get it straight enough to where i can folliw up with my flat iron (of another brand) with 1 pass on a lesser heat setting then what I would use before when i didnt blow dry at all. Im glad Best Buy carried it in their store as i prefer to just walk into a store to buy vs order on the Dyson website, pay for shipping and not knowing if its a keeper or not. I would prefer to use a paddle brush attachment for the Supersonic but so far there isn't one. I think that would smooth out my hair much nicer then this comb, but it is what it is. Since there is no other option for straighten for the Supersonic this is a great option. I say it's worth the buy as there is no other straightening attachment as of yet for the Supersonic. Dyson, if you are reading this, please make a nice FULL bristle brush attachment for the Supersonic! I tried the Airwrap and although i loved the concept, its not curly girl friendly as your hair needs to be damp to curl. Please make a curling rod that is safe for hair that we can use with our hair dry. Perhaps a steam curler!

I can make my hair shiny using this comb. it is easy to use with dyson hair dryer.

Good attachment that is useful for helping create volume. Snaps very well. Ultimately, its not doing anything super special. Its basically giving you the ability to run a comb through your hair as you blow air into it. You could do that on your own if you use your other hand with a comb and going through your hair. So it is a nice convenient tool. You just have to get used to it.

Like the comb attachment! Easily combs through hair. Because it elongated the length of the hair dryer, takes a little time to get use to it. A little pricey but should last forever without breaking!

i was definitely skeptical but this attachment works and does what it's supposed to do. granted, it does require a bit of 'learning' and 'know-how' to make it work effectively but if you're willing to take the time to learn... it's well worth it. it does get a little awkward and sometimes requires you to twist it a bit to contour to your head/direction you want to go with your hair but after a few times you get the hang of it and it becomes much more natural.

If you own a Dyson and you have curly/kinky hair this is a must! I absolutely love my Dyson but as soon as I purchased it I knew I needed a comb attachment. I’m not hair savvy but that blow dryer and this attachment has made my life so easy! 15 minute sleek blow dries have never been a thing until this device and attachment entered my life! The comb attachment glides right through my hair with no problem and leaves a beautiful shine behind! It also bends/flex so I’m not concerned about breaking the combs teeth like I have in the past. I have extremely thick and curly hair and I cried to the heavens when I added this to my collection!

Ok, so I have the dyson supersonic gift set. It was an investment that I made because I'm a natural girl and so is my daughter. We very rarely wear our hair straightened because of possible heat damage... My hair pattern is a curly wavy and its thickish but not thick for real. My daughters hair however is THICK.... she has good hair but its just tiring to deal with, it's take all day, hands and back hurt cuz she won't keep still, normally won't attempt to straighten cuz it's easier to keep it natural hair. I thought my gift set came with this tool but found out it didn't. So, the first time I used the dyson it did an awesome job on my hair but not so much on hers, we still had shrinkage. When I finally got this tool because it was sold out everywhere my life changed!! It actually got her hair to straighten enough to the point that I could flat iron her hair, which has never happened before. It also didn't hav flyaways like every other dryer(which is a big deal). You do need to part in sections and comb out the sections before you blow dry. The attachment DOES NOT COME OFF, every other "comb attachment" we have used on other blowdryers it comes off if the hair is too thick... This now doesn't. My favorite feature about this attachment is the versatility. As a woman we do our own hair and we do other people's hair, this comb allows you to change the direction where other combs don't. You can either have it completely horizontal which is best for doing your own hair, then you can turn the comb vertical and that is great for blowdrying someone else's hair. So in short, buy the attachment lol. Totally worth it!!!
