Q: What type of plastic is the Dyson Supersonic attachments made from?
A: Hi there Himothy, this is Tia from Dyson. The majority of the parts are made from glass filled polyamide 6, more commonly known as Nylon. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use Dyson Airwrap™ attachments with Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryer attachments because they have different attachment mechanism. The Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryer uses magnetic attachments, while the Airwrap™ barrels use a lock in mechanism. It's also worth noting, Dyson Supersonic™ is for those who want fast drying and smooth, controlled styling with techniques and additional tools such as a brush, While the Dyson Airwrap™ styler is for those who want the versatility of a styler to create curls and waves or a smooth finish.
